Do you find you’re less anxious after reading?

I’ve noticed I have less anxiety / social anxiety right after a period of reading (15-30 minutes).

It’s not permanent, but I feel a noticeable difference.

Could this be because I’m detaching from anxious thoughts while reading, allowing my brain to rest and relax in that aspect?

Anyone else experienced this?

Are infinity and countability mutually exclusive?

Can they coexist? Just going through a basic philosophy book - author critiques the First Cause Argument saying if a chain of existence can begin and go on infinitely into the future then why would a chain going infinitely into the past be impossible. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Would it be wrong to stop making dua for something because I feel it’s now too late?

If you wanted something by a particular age but you didn’t get it, and now you don’t really want it because you feel you missed out during earlier years, is it okay to stop making dua for it or would you be wrong / sinful for that?

Does the splitting of the moon trace back to the time of the prophet or likely a later interpretation?

This is from another post (exmuslim sub):

It is omitted in:

Sahifa Hammam ibn Munabbih (~700, earliest hadith collection)

Sirat Ibn Ishaq (780, earliest biography)

Sirat Ibn Hisham (810, 2nd earliest biography)

Muwatta Malik (~795)

Is it found in anything before the 6-7 canon hadith collections?

Replacing old ads with new ones to avoid cost?

Hi, do you ever replace an old ad with a completely new product (totally unrelated) to not incur the new ad charge? Is this allowed? Thanks

How can I be grateful to Allah?

I’ve always struggled with being grateful to Allah. If your life (day to day issues and pressures and experiences) is miserable, I don’t see how you can be grateful to Allah. People say be grateful for your health - but I see my body as a vehicle to enable consciousness which enables me to experience constant misery. So being grateful has always been hard. I can see how people who are happy, who have an enjoyable life, can be grateful. But, how do the miserable be truly grateful? I don’t ask this in spite. I have been angry and spiteful, but I’m prepared now to work through that and get to a place of real gratitude. So how can it be done? A real, genuine, permanent form of gratitude which is present even in a life of ultimate pain and suffering?

Confused by World Cup match time (UK, Eastern Time)

Hi, I'm looking at the World Cup match schedule, and I'm a little confused by one particular game's stated kick-off time. So Austria vs Jordan is shown as having a UK kick off time of 5am 17th June, however the Eastern Time kick off is shown as 12am 16th June on the Fifa schedule. Does that seem correct, or should it be 12am 17th June on Eastern Time?
