s9 mic works with speakerphone on, but sounds garbled with speakerphone off

People hear me fine through my galaxy s9 when I communicate via speakerphone or bluetooth headset . Otherwise, I sound garbled.

  1. Does anyone else experience this?

  2. Can anyone explain how this is possible? (If the mic works for speakerphone, why not for normal communications?)

Please recommend a free alternative to Google Messages that syncs with my Android phone, allowing me to type texts on chromebook, but uses "enter" to start the next line (instead of sending an incomplete text every freaking time I hit "enter").

TLDR: Please recommend an alternative to Google Messages that allows me to type structured texts on my chromebook, and send them through my Android (Galaxy s9) phone (and uses "enter" to start a new line, instead of sending the incomplete text).

I downloaded Google messages to my chromebook because it syncs with my Android phone, allowing me to type texts on my chromebook keyboard, and send it through my phone. Hitting "enter" sends the text, while hitting "shift + enter" starts a new line. I NEVER remember this, and accidentally send an incomplete text everytime I want to start a new line. Each attempt to send a single, structured 2 paragraph communication becomes 15 fragmented incoherent texts filled with rants about how stupid google messages is. No wonder I cannot find a job.

Please, will someone recommend a free app that solves this problem? Alternatively, can someone tell me if there is a secret way to force Google Messages to swap the "enter" and "shift+enter" commands? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can I clone a good DS multicart by copy/pasting onto a failed multicart?

My children have two identical DS multicarts, and one died after a month. I want to clone the good cart onto the bad. Is this as simple as plugging the micro-SD cards from both carts into my win11 cpu, erasing the bad cart, then copy/pasting from the good cart onto the bad cart (ie as if I were duplicating a flash drive)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
