Succulents and heat?

Succulents and heat?

I have some succulents outside. Haworthia, aloe, hens and chicks we are supposed to hit 90 degrees and maybe 100s this week. Should I bring them in? Or will they be ok in the shade?

Pic for attention not all of the plants are pictured and not all pictured plants are in question.

Dumb question

I have a small ruby necklace, string of dolphins and string of pearls in two inch pots. I ordered them for my bday and they arrived very rough, so I haven’t repotted yet, but when I do I’m wondering would it be ok to put them in a pot together? Or would that be a dumb thing to do?

Pandas paw?

I received this pandas paw from an online shop smh. It was a gift to myself for my bday and it arrived very rotted. The only piece that has made it is pictured. I’m about to bottom water it now and have been watering about once every two weeks. How do I I know when he needs watered? Like my jade I have the taco test and my aloe is when the leaves aren’t as firm, what are the signs for this one besides the soil being dry.

What am I doing wrong

Found these and these are the only survivors and they have grown roots but nothing else. Should I put them in a pot or is the shallow dish enough? My plan was when they sprouted a baby plant to pot them.

What is this white stuff?

I had this cutting propagating in water and when I checked on it today I see this white crusty looking stuff. I included a picture of the prop jar, none of the other cuttings have this.

Aloe -how to?

Please teach me how to care for these two aloes. Relatively new to succulents but very good with other houseplants. They were given to me in this soil mixed with mulch and idk what else. Should I separate them? I ensure it all the way dry before watering. I think I have watered it twice. I got it about a month ago and just want to give it its best life.

Using fertilizer in propagations?

Last night I was watching a video and the YouTuber was talking about using fertilizer when propagating. It got me into thinking and I’m wondering, does anyone else do this? If so, what medium are you using ie perlite, water, spaghnum moss? What kind of plant food or fertilizer do you use? Just curious if others have tried and if I should try.

Propping an alocasia corn for the first time

First time propping an alocasia from corn. I have them in moist perlite. The corns are only half covered. I have several different types of corns in the dish, 9 corns total couldn’t tell you which is which. Some are big some are small. I have been watching videos but is there anything I am forgetting? Any tips?

Still pretty new to propagation to begin with. I have grown roots and successfully potted a few pothos and a spider plant. Have a leafless monstera adansonaii stem and a monstera deliciousa leaf growing roots in sphagnum moss.

Will this be ok?

I was recently gifted a huge aloe plant being new to aloe plants. I did not know that I needed to bring it in when it got around 50° outside. I left it outside for about a week, when it was getting colder at night and now it has cold damage. I have cut the top off and I’m wondering if the stem will live to grow pups or grow a new top? Adding pics, I made the cut then waited a few days for it to dry before potting the stem. I added cinnamon to help prevent fungus and to help it callous faster. I have not watered since potting. Should the stem be covered more?

Prop success

I am very very new to propagating. I got into plants a few years back and tried propagating a snake plant a few times and it never took. This time I tried with a few cuttings someone sent me from Facebook. I am so happy and so proud lol. I also have some pothos cuttings rooting so this definitely boosted my confidence and I will be potting them today or tomorrow.

The cuttings were a monstera adansonii and a pothos that is different than the one I have. The first few pics are of the roots the day I added soil. The last two pics, of the cuttings in soil are from today about two weeks later and both have new growth!! I’m so happy. 😀
