How do you combat bugs outside?

What products and treatment schedules do you use for your outdoor grows here in MN? Last year, I got ate up by aphids and caterpillars during flower. This year, I started off with spider mites. I hit em with some neem oil for now and that seems to be working, but the organic product I used last year (don't recall the name of it) didn't seem to do much for the aphids and cats during flower.

Looking for suggestions from those that have had successful outdoor grows here in MN.

Also, picture is Brother's Grimm Ocifer x HSC Hella Jelly. She smells so good 😊

Cell phone in Mayo/Gonda

Does your cell phone work in the Mayo/Gonda buildings? If so, which provider do you have?

I have Verizon and with Mayo’s crap wifi, those buildings are basically dead zones for me.

What is your bot's target % gain every day?

I made this bot that basically picks the top 200 movers from the S&P 500, uses an LLM to ingest all sorts of technical data, and then spits out one ticker for me to buy, just before the markets open. So far, I think it's doing pretty well since gains have been more than losses. This is a simple backtest script I made to show which days are winners and losers, but I've been winning and losing real money with it since the 14th.

I'm wondering what % gain does everyone else's bots target every day? I set my profit target at 4% per day. Some days it hits, some days it doesn't, but it does seem to hit about half the days, which is great.

I'm just going full port, one blue chip stock per day, one trade per day, and so far it's working. Is anyone else getting better returns than this? If so, what are you trading?

If you're wondering, it's a fairly simple .py system paired with alpaca.

Edit: For clarification, the open/close column shows the gain of you would have simply bought at whatever the opening price was and closed 10 minutes before the market closed.

Which broker for Roth

I’ve got a bot that picks a single stock to trade once per day. So far, it’s very profitable. I’d like to automate it, but most of my funds are in Roth brokerage accounts, so I’m stuck trading manually after taking the bot’s recommendation. Which brokerage in the U.S. has a good API and also allows automated Roth trading?

What to do when your account gets large?

I'm not new to trading. I've been at it for decades. But, I've got what looks like a pretty successful system now and I'm wondering what I'll need to expect when my accounts get very large. At what point do you have to change your trading strategy and start trading in tranches? $10 million? $20 million? $100 million?

I only trade S&P 500 tickers and only shares (currently). I realize it takes a lot of capital to move one of those tickers, but I'm not exactly sure how much that is. Also, when you start making $10 or $20 million trades, I'm sure institutional whales will target your trades. How do you deal with stuff like that?

Just looking for some insight from someone who may already have a large account. No offense, but if you're not trading in the millions of dollars, I don't care to have your input.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in an AAA consumer arbitration with Tesla involving the way Tesla represented Full Self-Driving hardware on its website and order pages when I purchased several vehicles between 2019 and 2023.

I’m not posting this to argue with anyone about FSD, Tesla, Elon, autonomy, or whether the cars are good. I’m trying to locate screenshots or saved images from Tesla’s order pages around the same general dates I ordered my vehicles.

The core issue in my case is Tesla’s representation that vehicles had the hardware needed for full self-driving. Archived Tesla pages I have found include language such as:

“All new Tesla cars have the hardware needed in the future for full self-driving in almost all circumstances.”

The vehicles and dates I’m trying to compare against are:

  • Model 3 order timeframe: March 2019
  • Model S order / delivery timeframe: September 2021
  • Model Y order / delivery timeframe: April 2022
  • Model Y order / delivery timeframe: January 2023

I’m specifically looking for screenshots, PDFs, emails, saved order-page images, or browser captures showing Tesla’s Autopilot / Full Self-Driving / FSD Computer / hardware language during those timeframes.

I’m not asking anyone to share personal information, VINs, order numbers, addresses, or payment details. Please redact anything private. I’m only interested in what Tesla’s public-facing order or product pages displayed at the time.

If you ordered a Tesla around those dates and still have screenshots or saved order materials showing the FSD or Autopilot hardware language, I would really appreciate it if you’d be willing to share them with me.

Thanks in advance. I know this is a niche request, but order-page evidence from other buyers could help show what Tesla was representing to customers during the same periods.

Also, to the mods, I'm pretty sure this post meets all of the group rules, so please don't remove it 😐
