I was invited to help moderate this subreddit after an untimely disappearance from the previous mod team.

We have implemented three new rules so far, these include:

- Airsoft replicas only

- Gas blowbacks only

- Be civil, this includes calling people derogatory names or using acronyms to avoid the automod. Friendly arguments are ok.

We are a safe community built on helping others as well as showing off our replicas.

Hey everyone,

I saw a TikTok awhile ago and I forgot to save it and I keep trying to recreate it but I cannot for the life of me and I was wondering if anyone can make it again?

It was a video of the scene from the new Planet of the Apes with James Franco and Caesar speaks and he looks shocked but the audio was from Invincible and Conquest was saying how lonely he is. It was from the era of 100 men vs 1 gorilla meme.

I just thought my wife would love it again.

Hey,

I switched programs after failing 1 class which was required to progress into the following semester in Fall of 2025.

I moved into another program in Winter 2026 and I was put on academic probation because of it. I signed the paperwork that says I need to be academically successful and it will remove me from my probation.

I passed all of my classes and I filled out my application for OSAP for Fall 2026 and it says I need to fill out an academic probation sheet again.

I contacted the Financial Aid Office and am waiting for a response.

Any idea if this is an error?

I know apartments are not the *most* ideal environment, but sure they would be easier to clear and keep secure. I do not know if any of you lived in one ever but there are a lot of fire doors and access points that the dead can't get through.

Next most apartment buildings (and even in smaller areas) have underground parking so you can safely store your vehicles and stuff as well as it directly connects to the building so no going outside. There is usually a gate or door to seal the garage with also many fire exits for a quick escape on foot if need be.

Yes I know what you are going to say, "oh but most apartment buildings are in densely populated areas", yes that is true but there are many apartment buildings in sub-50k population centres.

It just provides heavy fortifications, because even most main entry ways sure could be easily accessible by the dead, it usually ends in fire doors by the elevators anyways so you would only lose the foyer.

You could even just stay above the second floor, seal off every main floor apartment and entrance way and only use the garage doors for scavenging if you really wanted to.

I know it isn't the *most* ideal, but concrete walls, many choke points, fire doors out the wazoo, and easy ingress and egress from the property. You can even grow on the roof.

I know what you are saying, "oh but they did that on Dead City", sure but you couldn't do much outside rooftop to rooftop surviving in NYC. My situation would be more suited for areas where you can scavenge easy etc.

What do you guys think?

Afterthought, I would say it would be ideal for a medium to larger community, a single person could do it possibly but the benefit is having multiple people clearing and watching safety areas.
