Does anyone know if Power Cords will be in-stores in the UK tmr?

I realised they are doing an online-release tomorrow but never announced it, so I was wondering if they forgot to announce it or something 😭

EDIT: THEY ANNOUNCED IT :D

As a student on summer break, what can I do to improve my skills?

Since my university did not provide anything for me to study during the summer, I was wondering what I could do to improve my UX and UI skills?

I'm guessing a personal project may be the way, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting started on anything. I've wasted way too much time (due to a pain) but I still have like 2 months remaining, so I want to turn things around. Maybe I could try designing a website, since my uni hasn't gone through that yet?

I tried making a portfolio a while ago, but it didn't feel right, especially since everything I've done so far was catered to the course for examination, and I feel it's not as suitable for a work-style portfolio. Or maybe I'm wrong for thinking that way?

Anyway, if anyone has any sort of advice, I'd appreciate it! (My university uses Figma, incase you're wondering)

Any Cheap Digicam Recommendations?

Are there any new brands which are like these old digicams? Or are the 2010s digicams the only way to achieve genuine photos with no AI enhancements. They are too expensive for something old and could break... the pink ones are like £200-£400. And I really want a light pink one.

I prefer physical buttons rather than buttons on the screen. I like the look of the samsung one (top right, soft pink) but I'd rather it with buttons, so it doesn't have a smartphone feel. But if I found it for a good price, I wouldn't mind.

I don't want a digicam that gives blurry photos though. It's gotta have good focus, flash, decent zoom, like my Xacti Sanyo camcorder.

Oh and if there is a rec function (I don't expect it to be great on a digicam) it would be nice if it has a pause button. My Xacti Sanyo doesn't have a pause button. Atleast, I don't see one 😅

Also it needs good battery life!! What's the usual battery life for old digicams? And for the new? I'm too used to long battery life from my smartphone...

It'd be nice if I could find one for like £50 - £150. 😁

Any (non AI) Copyright-free Lofi Music for Vlogs?

I plan on "rebooting" my YouTube channel, but the copyright-free music library channels I used to use turned to AI. 😢

I am against gen AI, and only want to use real music by real artists. Anything like Lofi and calm melodies, with no vocals preferably, is what I'm looking for. 🎵

Also, does anyone know if this channel is non-AI and copyright-free?:

Please do share your Lofi recommendations!! 😄🩷

Why do we see Colours more Vibrant after Opening Closed Eyes?

I was lying down on my side, with my right eye (in my pillow) closed, and my left eye open.

When I opened my right eye, I notice the blue wall is so much more vibrant when seen through my right eye compared to my left eye. It fades back to normal after a bit. Like one of them illusions, I suppose.

Theres nothing particularly special about it - this is just something I noticed when I was a kid, but never bothered questioning it. 😅

It made me wonder how different everyone is seeing the same colour, especially since I am an Illustrator.

Sometimes I may use muted colours, but this made me wonder, what if some people see it as super dull rather than slightly muted.

I especially wonder how different a light-blue eyed and dark-brown eyed person would see the colour. Would the hue be slightly cooler for the light-blue eyed people? And am I just seeing a warmer tone, as a dark-brown eyed person?

Welp this is just my random thought. I wonder if anyone will read this someday...
