Don't buy animals if you cannot take care of them and don't do research for them!

My horses were kept locked up in a 10 by 10 stall together, with little to no pasture and were being fed grass seed for years, mind you. Then, we finally bought them for $500 each. The first 2 photos is the only one they sent us, and I can confirm that photo was taken years before they even wanted to sell them, and the black gelding was doing big lick while enduring his home situation. (Sorry about the random photo of a drawing it got added when I was looking for photos lmao)

Please bring your animals to the vet...

We were told he was an aggressive dog who bit kids and people. Turns out he's just a large puppy with aching teeth and sore feet; he's only 2 years old and loves my little brother. He is a great dog and was going to be put down because they thought he was aggressive.... instead of just taking him to a vet. I'm so glad we got him!

Before vs after! (The first 4 are before)

They were being fed grass feed and stalled 24/7.

I need y'all to come in clutch!

Hi, so I usually dress in 80s alt, but anyways I got a new dress and my sister's baby shower is tomorrow. I really want to wear it. Any ideas on how I can style it? (In an 80s way, lol)

Does anyone know what this bump is?

1 year ago, this was very tiny. I originally thought it was a bee sting, but then it didn't go down, so I thought it was maybe just from something rubbing. I switched my saddle pads, and then this month it has gotten bigger. I called the vet since he started showing pain from it (which is new duh), and they can't get us in for a few weeks. So, if anyone knows, I would love to hear some info! Of course, we are still getting a vet out, though.

I'm learning more about lighting in digital art, but I need some help. Right now, I only have lighting drawn in, but I can't find any tutorials for horse fur or even muscles. I'm trying my best, but I need tips on muscles and fur. I'm aiming for a somewhat realistic style, but not entirely, if that makes sense.

So proud of him! He definitely can gain a lot more, but we just started working on it. <3

Ps: ik it doesn't look like a lot but trust me it's there lol

I found this in my great grandma's record box when she passed away. I got all of her records and her record player. This was in the bottom drawer with some records. Is this a real signature? I only know her because my grandma always listened to her music all the time during Christmas or Thanksgiving, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually her signature, but I'm not an expert on that kind of stuff, lol.

How do we feel about riding horses at one or two years of age? I recently saw a video of someone riding a Tennessee Walking Horse on concrete, claiming it was acceptable because the breed matures more quickly and is already being shown. Shortly after, I came across another video of someone riding a Quarter Horse that was only two years old up and down steep hills.

In my view, horses should not be started under saddle until at least four years of age, with more demanding riding ideally delayed until around five, when their musculoskeletal development is more complete. I’m interested to hear others perspectives
