Xpeng L03 Global specs…

Pretty sure I’m not the only one who was being very excited for the launching of global version Xpeng L03 . However after the global specs revealed in Thailand, I realised ONLY Long Range ULTRA is getting Turing chips. Then the others will only get “Front-View Integrated machine” like this G6 standard range.

No wonder I see many comments about the launching of L03 is the sales booster for G6 , what do you think ?

Modification on G6 18inches rims

Have you guys done anything to your existing Xpeng rims , and any concern on the warranty ?

Downsizing from 20” to 18” ? EV (Xpeng)

I’m looking at the G6 Long Range which comes stock with 20” rims, but I’m considering downsizing to 18” for better ride comfort, range, and cheaper tire replacements.

If you’ve swapped to 18s on your G6:

  1. Did you notice a significant improvement in ride comfort over bumps?

  2. What real-world range boost did you get?

  3. Did you go with OEM 18s or aftermarket flow-formed rims? Any issue with brake/caliper clearance?

Thanks in advance for ur comment ! 🤝

Remarks: Xpeng in my country doesn’t offer selection, strictly 18 for standards range and 20 for LR

G6 SR (Front-View Integrated Machine) vs LR (Orin-X) — How big is the difference in daily driving?

Hi, I’m looking into the XPeng G6 and noticed the hardware setup for driver assistance differs between trims:

•Standard Range (SR): Front-View Integrated Machine (focused on basic ADAS, no Active Lane Change / ALC, fewer side cameras)
•Long Range (LR) / Performance: NVIDIA Orin-X chip (full 360° sensor processing, ALC support)

For current owners or anyone who has test-driven both:

  1. Daily Driving: How noticeable is the performance difference for standard Lane Centering (LCC) and Adaptive Cruise (ACC)?
  2. While I do not need function like Active Lane Change (ALC), but can SR understand my VOICE COMMAND good as the LR ?
  3. Future-Proofing & OTAs: of course it won’t be as future proof as the nvdia orin-x , how likely will I be regretted if I go for front view integrated machine ?

I did some YouTube and Google researched and what I’ve got are some specifications. Would appreciate any real-world insights! Thanks!

18” VS 20” tyres on Xpeng G6

Hi XPeng owners! I’m converting from an ICE car that uses 16'' tyres. I would love your direct feedback on 18" vs 20" setups. I think this will significantly affect my decision since the cost of 20'' almost double.
,

  1. 18” SR Owners: How is the daily comfort, noise, and battery range? Sticking to OEM or changed brands?

  2. 20” LR Owners: How’s the tyre wear so far? Are the looks and handling worth the extra cost?

  3. Recommendations: Which specific tyre brand/model (e.g. Michelin, Hankook iON, Conti) are you using?

Have you guys changed 4 tyres at once, or can you actually change 2 by 2?

Remarks: Have you guys actually change Rim for your Xpeng or any EV cars ? Heard they will drastically reduce your range ?

Thanks in advance for your sharing, and have a good day! 🙏

Holding off G6 order for L03

Hey everyone! 👋 I’ve been eyeing the XPENG G6 Standard Range for a while now, but I’ve been feeling a bit hesitant to lock in my order. While it looks like a solid entry-level package, settling for the trade-offs on the base trim, like the smaller LFP battery, standard 18-inch wheels, lower peak DC charging speed, and missing Active Lane Change (ALC), has made me pause.

Instead of rushing into a deposit, I've decided to hold off and wait to see how the global rollout of the MONA L03 / M03 plays out in my region, or hold out for potential year-end promos on the higher-tier G6 trims.

I’d love to get some perspectives from the community:
Anyone else holding back? Are you waiting for the L03 fastback/SUV to launch in your country, or holding out for seasonal dealer rebates on the G6 before pulling the trigger?

Current G6 Standard Range owners: How satisfied are you with the base model? Do the missing features actually matter in daily commute/family driving, or does it still feel like great value for money?

If you locked in the G6 over waiting for the MONA series: What made the decision easy for you? Is it because the G6 is on a completely different platform level (800V architecture, double-wishbone/multi-link suspension, taller family SUV cabin), or did you just not want to wait for RHD/export allocations?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! Have a good one folks 😊🤝

🥊Muay Thai + Zf 📸

I’ll definitely go again if I get the chance, but I’ll pick a different spot next time, there were quite a few obstructions from where I sat this time as you might notice, though it was close enough ! 🤭

Photography really is all about trade-off, just like choosing between prime vs. zoom lenses, or black & white vs. color 😆 don’t you agree?

Muay Thai photography with Zf

Wish Reddit can connects me to those who love B&W photography and give me some insight and even suggestions to improve 😊

Couldn’t really move around and was stuck in the same seat the whole night, but super glad I still managed to snap some great moments. Honestly one of the greatest experience in @rajadamnern stadium Bangkok ! 🇹🇭 🥊

Despite being f4 but I realized it doesn’t really affect my night photography👌

Dilemma: Hold my booking G6 Standard Range or

Hey guys, I’m stuck in a major dilemma.

I love the XPENG G6, but my budget limited me to the RWD Standard Range. I know going entry-level means missing out on XPENG's signature high-tech experience and premium features.

Now that the Mona L03 is launching, I'm highly tempted. If I cancel my G6 order, I could use that exact same budget to buy the absolute top-spec, tech-maxed variant of the Mona L03 instead.

I know they sit in completely different tiers. But from a budget vs. future-proof standpoint, which makes more sense? A base-spec premium platform (G6) or a top-spec budget platform (L03)?

Appreciate your thoughts!

Zf + 24-120 f4s @ Hangzhou

I know I’m not alone in this. feeling grateful for falling in love with photography, and finding joy in capturing moments. 📸

And during this trip, I realized something too:

no matter what lenses I brought with me, the 24-120 f/4 S always stayed on my Zf most of the time.

But once the sun went down, the 50mm f/1.8 S somehow always found its way back onto my camera.

Location: Hangzhou China .

It wasn’t easy trying to do street photography while constantly keeping my eyes on my kids during the trip… but I’ll keep trying 😊 and had a great experience too
