Smoke Alarm - hush/disable from app?

I have 3 of the new wired Kiddie smoke and co detectors. Love them. BUT they are way more sensitive than prior smoke alarms. They go off sometimes when someone is cooking and there is no visible smoke. The question i have is, why can't i 'hush' them via the app or keypads? I hit disarm on the keypad, which I guess tells Ring I do not need any help, but they keep ringing locally for another 5 minutes minimum. Online it says there might be a hush option in the app but only when they're going off? This seems like a no-brainer feature and something they should add to keypad features as well?

electric bike and trailer?

I see that some electric bikes (under 20mph) are allowed on paths and the beach. But what about a trailer? Is it possible to take a bike and trailer and ride down to the beach and out on it and setup a chair and umbrella?

RBSE960 Satellites just blink white then go dark

I've tried to push the reset button. I've tried the sync. I've tried both while connected via ethernet to the router. nothing works. it's like they're mocking me....

I have fios with an ONT connected right into the RBSE960 router. It works. Wifi works. The Sats just will NOT connect. Please save me from myself and the hammer that is calling my name.

Remove g3100?

I’m running a g3100 with firmware 3.1.1.17. I have wifi shut off and then an Orbi RBRE960 and two satellites running in AP mode. I have the Orbi’s wired into the g3100.

I get network issues where devices sometimes can’t see each other and wifi drops frequenty. I see g3100 has a lot of firmware updates and even though I’m not double NAT, I’m not getting any benefit of running both devices. If I wanted to remove the g3100 and just go from the ont to my Orbi, would that work? Just rip and replace? Any reason to use the g3100? I have a large home with a ton of iot, I need a mesh system.
