Unsure about next career move

So I have been an SDR for the past 2-3 years, I started to get sick of constant cold calling for not a lot of commission. My latest role is an outsourced SDR for different Saas companies but I got placed on edtech which is the last industry I want to be in. I decided to call it quits on sales and move into corporate where I have secured a Data and AI apprenticeship at a major bank. However, I’m also in the last stages for an AE role in a tech industry I actually want to be in and pay double what the apprenticeship pays as a basic and quadruple with OTE, it is also 95% inbound. I now don’t know what to do, should I still go for the apprenticeship or stick around for AE?

Am I bad at sales or is this a bad sales campaign?

I have worked in sales for around 2 years in total, I recently joined an outsourced sales company for what I thought was enterprise Saas sales but it turns out I’m selling a Duolingo type platform which I never wanted to be in or want to be in long term. On top of not being mentioned at all prior to me joining that this could be a possibility (I was told Saas or cyber which is why I said I was joining in my interview) the territory I have been assigned is all primarily English speaking countries. I have been put on a pre-pip because I’m just not able to book meetings for it largely due to businesses saying we just hire people with the language and it being seeing as more of a luxury than a need. Do you think it’s me or the campaign? On top of the is the targets are very unrealistic especially after speaking to an internal AM he said half of our quota is a good month in terms of meeting.

So I have an unconditional of from Lloyds to start one of their tech apprenticeships after having completing the background checks successfully. The starting salary is 26.5k which is quite low for my age. I have read in some places it stays the same for the full 4 years and in some it says you get re-graded after completing the level 4 etc. Does anybody know as this could potentially be a big issue for me earning that amount for the full 4 years. What’s the pay progression during the apprenticeship?
