So my wife and kids got super enthusiastic about hockey recently. We have an NHL and a AHL team and we are about to have a PWHL team. My wife was super excited but she is disappointed now to find out that the PWHL rules seem to nerf the game. Why do that? It seems like women's hockey would be exactly the same to watch if they have the same rules, but changing the rules to make the game more lady like...why do that?

Ok what specifically....

NHL allows full body checking and PWHL restricts to players moving in same direction, she says this makes it less exciting.

When I start my climate control in the Ford pass app, it doesn't seem to be cooling. It just seems to blow air around without the compressor. Cold air starts almost immediately after pushing the car start button, but that's too late.... What is happening.i swear it worked when we got the car

Anyone else had incredible amounts of glass damage. I came out yesterday too find my truck with a broken windshield again. This is already my forth windshield in 3 years. Two of which were mysterious, the first one the windshield just broke one day when driving down a empty freeway. This one was just there one morning and not there when I parked it in the evening.

My son is learning to play hockey, my wife and I are new to the sport. The laces on the skates are, the worst thing ever.

Has anyone ever retrofitted a BOA onto hockey skates? If so, how did it work out?

Kids skates with BOA already on them seem to be unavailable or absurdly expensive.

So it's summer break, and it's Memorial Day, so we are at home. I offered to take the kids out somewhere this morning and they chose to play with some neighbors. But now this is over.

My son, 10yo, went to meet his friend at the playground, but ended up going to his house to swim. (This is about 3 miles on his bike- a normal distance for my children to ride) My daughter, 7yo, announced she would not go, I needed to drive her, it's too hot. She was not actually invited, but her brother said she could come if she wanted to. She did not want to unless I drove her. I did not drive them.

Now she is very upset and feeling left out.

I think at this age they can have separate friends even if they normally play together. She often plays with this other boy before and after school, but it's another 10 year old, it's definitely my son's friend. When can a older kid exclude a younger sibling. (He actually didn't exclude her, but I am not driving her after the fact)

(Please don't tell me you find a kid on a bike traveling short distances unacceptable

I left my bindings on when I put on my storage wav and while the bottom feels smooth, I can see the wax sticks differently in a double oval pattern under the binding.

I know I should have taken the bindings off first, but I didn't, is the board irreparably damaged? Will I even notice?

My wife (not a cyclist) and I had a full on argument about this. I saw a driver who went out of there way to drive into that guy, I say I have been on the roads with cars and I know that is what happened. She saw a driver who was struggling to get past a group who was not moving, and didn't want to go onto the wrong side of the road. I guess I am asking a friendly crowd, but what did you guys see?

I feel like I need to clarify that neither myself or my wife read the context of this clip ahead of time. We just both watched it and had a gut reaction to what we were seeing. She did agree the car was too close, but she assumed the driver was making a series of poor choices in an attempt to be safe and I (and the rest of you) saw a car going out of their way to hurt cyclists believing they could get away with it if they did it right. Of course I have now read context and I see that we (all of you and me) are correct.

So end of day Saturday I was at 17%. No problem, that is the system working as it should, I parked the Mach E in the garage and took my ICE truck out of the garage. We have avoided driving that truck over 1000 miles in just three weeks. My question is, I plug in and it says it will be charging until 8:59 am Wednesday. This is not true, If I were to actually let it get to 100% that would probably happen Monday morning from past experience. But it has been plugged in since 7 pm Saturday, it is not 7 pm Sunday, and it currently shows it will be done charging 7 am Tuesday. Why can it not correctly project charge times?
