I'm always really hyped to start a new campaign, either in Xeno2 or X-COM, XCOM1/2 or other turn based games, imagining all the combos and what not, but after completing a certain amount of missions, all of these games just feel like a grind. I'd like to rewire the way I look at this genre after hundreds of hours, but no matter what I always end up skipping tons of missions and missing out on goodies or even dropping the game for the time being. I don't know why I do this, as I do want to play the game, so why am i skipping the gameplay!? If you had similar experience and solved it, please let me know. I'm always in awe when I see a youtube playlist or something, where somebody plays a mod or even a vanilla campaign for hundreds of hours perfectly.

got myself a +5 to skills fractured ilvl82 sinister staff
trying to get 3 physical prefixes but failed many times
invested like 400d at this point and im wondering if this is normal (first time investing in a craft)

>chaos one affix until i get good a good one, example T2 crit
>perfect exalt, sinistral exalt and greater exalt omens to hit double perfect prefix
>prefix annul if bad mod and hope it picks the correct one
>perf exalt again
>repeat, annul if fails

like this i got like 3-4 times to a point where i had something like 2x tier 2 prefixes and a T1 suffix, but i always fail trying to get the last physical prefix and i end up annulling the whole thing - is there a way to setup a "fail safe" or something, or it is always a gamba when annuling bad mods?

my goal is at least one T1 phys and 2 tier 2 phys, i calculated it will probably take like 1-2k+ divines - is that a correct assumption? thank you

my current staff would go for about 400d+, so buying a better one isn't really something i want to do, at this point i wanna learn how to craft at least
