first ball python, Drusilla 🖤

I recently got my first ball python at a reptile expo on June 27th and wanted to introduce her and get some opinions.
I was told she is a 4 month old female Super Black Pastel. as of today when I weighed her she weighs 90g.
I wasn’t planning to buy anything but I came across her and had never seen one that looked like her before and fell in love with her. I realize I should have researched the morph first, and that’s completely on me. since then I’ve learned there may be health issues associated with it, so now I’m trying to educate myself and make sure I’m doing everything right. she does have a tiny kink in her tail that the breeder told me about but as far as I’ve noticed that’s the only deformity.

does she look healthy based on these photos?
can anyone explain her morph and what I should know about it?
is 90g a healthy weight for a 4 month old female?

I reached out to the breeder asking what she’s been eating, how often she was fed, and when her last meal was, but I haven’t gotten a response yet. any advice on how I should proceed until I know her feeding history?

looking for display/protection ideas

after an apartment fire earlier this year, all of my Funko Pop boxes were destroyed. breaks my heart cause i had some of them for 10 years and were in perfect condition. thankfully the Pops themselves are fine, but now I have a bunch of loose Pops and no idea how to display or protect them. I’d love to see how everyone displays out-of-box Pops and hear any recommendations for shelves, display cases, dust protection, or storage solutions.

and would love to see everyone’s collections. Im big on horror pops ☺️

What is my snake?

I’m new to ball pythons and still learning morphs. the person I got her from told me she is a Pastel Enchi Vanilla (or Fire) 100% het Clown. can someone explain what you see in her and whether you think she’s Vanilla or Fire? and what 100% het clown means? I’d love to learn how to identify these traits.

What kind of millipedes do you have?

I’d love to see everyone else’s babies!! what made you get the kind you got? ☺️ I really want an African giant at some point. (I didnt hold them up high very long just to get a quick video and then I let them crawl back in their enclosure)

New Millipede Owner

just got my first “Inferno Ghost Rider” millipede and I’m looking for any advice from people who have kept them successfully! my daughter also has 2 ivory’s and a chocolate, but was told not to house them together. Why is that?

right now now mine is in a 10 gallon tank, but I plan to upgrade him to something larger. the substrate is currently Zilla Jungle Mix

• What temperature and humidity ranges have worked best for you?
• What foods do your millipedes seem to enjoy the most?
• Are there any foods to avoid?
• What are some signs of a healthy, thriving millipede versus signs that something might be wrong?
• How often do you see yours out and active?

I’m also trying to source natural materials safely. Where does everyone get their hardwood leaves and decaying wood? Do you collect your own, buy from a supplier, or use a specific online source? If you collect your own, what process do you use to make sure it’s safe?

Any general husbandry tips, things you wish you’d known when you started, or enclosure photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
