Do you think this will die down any time soon?

The title. I've never seen so many fans ben disappointed in them before, across ALL channels. Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube, reddit, weverse... WEVERSE.

I know there have been other things that have been talked about before (McDonald's, coca cola, Gemini) but there's always been more people defending it which drowned out the voices that called anything out.

It's like something has switched and the scales have tipped. There's a lot more fans willing to call them out rather than blindly defend the cb thing.

I think it's because cb and everyone (rightly) hates him.

Also, I don't if it's just the side of twitter I'm on, but it feels like for a lot of fans, a number of things have been building up and this was the final thing that they couldn't turn a blind eye to.

But I also don't know what's going to happen with it. I very much doubt they would release a statement but I also don't see it dying down anytime soon. So where do we go from here?

We love them but it's a very confusing time right now.

Edit: based on the replies, it's likely this will blow over soon. I guess it's inevitable really. I guess what feels different about this situation compared to the others is that I've never seen SO MANY army call them out on something. I've seen accounts and creators who have defended them in the past talk about this.

I've only been an army since 2018 so I idk if they've not experienced anything as big as this befire but it might be different for older armys.

I do think it's a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation. I can only hope they see what's being said and see it's coming not from a place of malice, and hopefully do better in the future.

Feeling disappointed in the boys more and more

Firstly I really wish I found this sub before. The amount of times I've been called a hater or told to leave the fandom for calling the boys out is exhausting. Or on the other side, people will think I'm a full blown hater but in a good way and use my words to actually hate on them. Didn't realise there was a place were discussions like this could be brought forward in a neutral way.

Basically the title. I love the boys, i listen to their albums, went to concerts, have bt21 and official merch... but over the past few years, I've found myself be disappointed by them more and more. I know we're all human and make mistakes but I feel like when you have the platform they do, they need to think about some of their decisions more. I also understand they're not going to have the exact same morals and beliefs but i would hope some align.

I know they've said they don't want to be seen as politicians or put on a pedestal but i feel like what they say and do sometimes contradicts that. Also some things aren't political, it's human rights.

First it was the amount of zios in hybe. Not their fault but then they worked with so many zio writers and producers, and post about them. Again could not be their fault but they've spoken about being in control of their music and who they work with.

Then there was the McDonald's picture from Taehyung during the "height" of the genocide. To this day, I have no idea why he randomly posted about that, there was so much online about it to, surely he must've seen it? Maybe not.

Then there waa the coca cola ad and all that came with it. Mainly the comments on coca cola's Instagram post. Again there was so much online and under that specific post about Palestine. Idk how you don't see it, nearly all if their posts were flooded with Palestine comments.

Around the same time was the tiny tan McDonald's collab. And then there was some of the members randomly putting in cola or Starbucks in there ig posts.

I understand maybe they have to work with some of these companies, maybe due to contracts. However, they've also said they CHOOSE who to work with.

And now there's the Gemini ai advert and the Chris Brown concert (seriously I thought that guy was charged recently 🫩). That's absolutely thrown me and no, I never use gen ai.

I understand they are not politicians and never asked to be held to a high moral standard. But their past songs have been political and they have been ambassadors for various charities. It's not completely unreasonable to see them in a certain way and expect certain things from them.

A part of me is like why even bother asking celebrities for certain things. But then I think, they have WAY more reach than I will ever have. Imagine if all of them (and other celebrities) came together and said "hey let's not use this/we're not going to work with this/let's talk about this", maybe it will finally start having an affect on the bad companies' profits, and when money is affected , that's when governments FINALLY start listen.

Looking for a specific spiderman comic book series

Hi, not sure if this is the best sub reddit to post in but wondering if someone can help.

With the new Spidey film out, the discussion of who the best spiderman is has came up again. An argument that always come up is "Andrew was a great Spiderman but not Peter Parker". I've always had an issue with this though and it's based off a Spiderman comic book series... the issue is, it may or may not be actually real.

Basically a few years before TASM came out, i read a book or magazine about the different versions of spidey over the years and the different comics. In one version, Peter isn't as nerdy as he usually is and is actually witty as Peter. He's also pretty good with the ladies. So when TASM came out a few years later, I thought "oh that's cool, they using that comic book version of Peter Parker instead of what the did with Toby and the spiderman cartoons". Which is one of the reasons why I never agreed with the "Andrew is a bad Peter" argument, because i just thought he was based on one of the lesser known versions of Peter.

However, I have no idea which spiderman comics this is from. Does it even exist? Did I just read the Spiderman book wrong?

Does anyone know of a comic like this? Where Peter is still super smart but just not as nerdy/"uncool"?

Hi I'm wondering what size storage I should get for my new phone.

I've already used up all of the 256gb on my old phone and have no room for anything else. It's mainly media, only got a few apps - I take a lot of random pictures and videos which I can't be bothered to clean up lol. Also a lot of the pictures/videos are from a bunch of concerts I've been to. The low storage sign won't go away lol

I was originally going to get a 1tb phone but would that be over kill? My brother says why bother when 512gb will be enough, but half of it will already be gone when I transfer everything over.

Should I just stop being a digital hoarder and delete my crap lol

I bought 2 refurbished s25 ultras recently from 2 different sites. I know this sounds crazy but my sibling mentioned how the site I originally bought from isn't always great so I should test it against a more reputable site. That said, I've used the other site before and it was fine.

Both are refurbished, both to the highest refurbishment category on the site, but from two different sites. First was from Back Market and the second from Giffgaff (I'm in the UK for reference).

I don't know if I'm going crazy, but is there a difference in camera quality?? I know when you zoom in a lot the end result is probably just a load of processing but shouldn't it still be the same? I feel like you can definitely make the words out better in the second picture. For reference they're both taken from the same distance away using 100x zoom. I've just cropped them a little.

They're literally the exact same phone. The only difference in storage, one is 1tb (from Back Market) the other is 512gb (Giffgaff). Unfortunately it's the 1tb that's seems to be lacking and that's the storage I would prefer... But I also want to take good pictures.

This is a very small issue but the pen sticks out ever so slightly on the 1tb one too.(First picture is the 512gb pen, second is the 1tb pen).

Hi, I recently bought a mint condition refurbished s25 ultra (trying to to my bit for the planet lol) and one one the main reasons I chose it was for the camera.

However I tested it and tried taking a picture of the moon but it only started to look good once I zoomed in past 10x. Anything less and it looked like a white dot. Even when I turned the exposure down it didn't do anything except make the surrounding area darker.

I sometimes like to get a bit of the surrounding area as it makes the picture look nice but it doesn't look like I can do this with the s25 ultra.

I also took a picture with my old Google pixel 7 pro and it looked a lot better at 10x zoom. (Included images for reference).

The first 2 images were taken through a window.

  1. Is my pixel 7 pro
  2. S25 ultra
  3. S25 ultra without the window in between

The pixel 7 pro is almost 3 years older than the s25, surely the 25 should be better than this?

Is there something wrong with my settings? Does the s25 just not work well with things like this?

I'm having a couple of other issues with the camera too.
