Drive back after reversal
vasectomy reversal is scheduled for next week and we’ll be driving about 12 hours back home the day after.
Looking for suggestions to make the trip back home easier. Ice pack, pain med, etc…

Has anyone been successful in making a last minute appointment for vasectomy reversal in Utah? I’m checking their website now and their book until November. I know this sounds non sense but I was hoping to get an appt next week since my partner will be off work, that way he won’t need to use sick time.
My partner is considering having his vasectomy reversal at Kaiser. From what we’ve read so far only Oakland and Santa Clara offer it.
Has anyone done recently to share how it went in terms of wait time
Miles, splats or calories?
We filed a grievance with Kaiser, a week later we got a CM assigned to us. Her letter stated that they’d have a response within 30 days.
30th day approaching and no word from the CM, we then started calling her number listed on her letter. We left tons of voicemails, no call back.
On the 30th day we then called member service to hopefully get an update, right after our call with member service she sends us a letter with an update, pretty much saying that the issue has been resolved. The thing is, it has not. We then started calling her again to let her know we still have questions… tons of calls, voicemails… no call back.
This person has to be the most useless CM that KP could’ve assigned to us
Has anyone been successful in having coverage through insurance (Kaiser) if one of the parents is a carrier for Hemoglobin C trait?
We’re hoping to have full IVF coverage with Kaiser and just pay for PGT-A test out of pocket since we don’t have coverage unless the insurance approved at medical necessity. I learned that PTG-M would be more appropriate if we want to check if the embryo is a carrier for Hemoglobin C trait. Since my partner is not a carrier I’m now wondering if I could still have it covered since I am a carrier.
Hello, we’re starting our IVF journey and would like recommendations of a mTese clinic. My partner’s insurance quoted about 10k.
We’re in the Bay Area, CA. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated
Has anyone been able to use their Carrot benefits after the insurance denied the claim due to not being a medical necessity?
My husband has vasectomy so we’ve decided to start IVF treatment.
He has Kaiser (CA) and I’m hoping to get Anthem with Carrot benefits from my employer.
Since we’re with different insurance how would the TESE process work for him? Does he have to do that with my clinic and pay out of pocket?
