[Jaeger-LeCoultre] c. 1980s Albatros

New pickup for me, the JLC Albatros. It was released in 1983 following JLCs 150th anniversary. A really interesting and ultra thin tonneau shaped case. The size is 34MM which wears extremely well. The black Roman numerals against the crisp white dial completes it perfectly. A rare gem.

[Zenith] c. 1970s Defy on a Gay Frères bracelet

The Defy is a model from Zenith that I’ve grown to love a lot recently. Most people will be familiar with the warm brown dial A3642, but this one drew my attention. It’s a c. 1970s 1808-68 with a very rare creamy white dial - one that I’ve never come across before. It was nicknamed the “bank vault” as it’s almost like an indestructible block on the wrist, but at 37mm, it certainly doesn’t look out of place. The original Gay Frères ladder bracelet completes it.

A cool ‘70s Seamaster…

This specific reference (176.005) is referred to as the "TV Case", but was falsely named as the “Seamaster Jedi”. It is powered by the automatic calibre 1040. I decided to test a blue rubber strap to highlight the blue accents on the dial - a nice alternative to the original 1171 bracelet.

One of a few watches deserving of a long name…

The Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar charmed me like no other watch has… it’s timeless and sophisticated yet versatile enough to wear for many occasions. I simply love it!

If you’re interested in JLC, feel free to follow my IG - @staplefordwatches - I’m aiming to post a lot more JLC content, modern and vintage.

This Radiomir is summer in a watch 🌅

Really loving this Radiomir at the minute. It reminds me of watercolour paper and pastels. I’ve filmed a few clips and will be doing a lot more content on Panerai going forward. If you’re interested - @staplefordwatches on IG.

How can I keep a consistent background without a lot of manual hassle?

Pic 1 is what I’m aiming for. Pic 2 and 3 are my pics. I’m trying to create a website for my products, but the background keeps changing brightness levels, presumably because the steel on bracelets reflect light better than a dark coloured strap?

For context, I’m using a Sony A7C with Sony FE 90mm F2.8 G OSS lens. I have a soft box and put the watch in a white box with a reflective card on the opposite side. I use manual camera settings to keep everything consistent.

I’ve started using photoshop for focus blending and would appreciate some guidance on how to keep the background consistent, but keeping the shadows visible. Given that I’ll be listing many items, and several angles of the same item, is there a way to make it streamlined like Pic 1? I feel like I’ve tried most things at this point but it’s incredibly time consuming - surely there’s a quick way?

Thanks in advance (I’m a complete novice with a camera so please excuse my awful explanation).
