Thorn T023 - making the blue suit and white shirt look even sharper!

First thing I did was take off the stock bracelet and put it on a jubilee (although I couldn't click the best photo). I think it suits the watch much better.

Also wanted to give Thorn a shoutout. I bought this just before their Mid-Year sale and noticed the price dropped before the watch even reached me. Sent them an email asking if anything could be done, and they refunded the difference without any back-and-forth.

Small gesture, but it left a really positive impression.

Very happy with the watch, and even happier with how they handled the situation.

I currently have an Aethelsohn shard with a PT5000, and I’m already tempted to buy another PT5000 watch, inclined towards Thorn Frogmantle 😅

But realistically, I won’t be wearing both regularly. So now I’m wondering, what do you guys actually do with automatic watches that sit unused for days or weeks?

Do you just let them stop, keep them on a winder, or occasionally wind/wear them to keep the movement healthy?

Also read mixed opinions specifically about PT5000 hand winding, so curious to hear real long term experiences from people here.

Dial is insane in person. Way better than photos, shifts color depending on light and has a ton of depth.

40mm fits perfectly on my 7” wrist, wears slimmer than expected.

Bracelet is decent.
