Hello , finasteride didn't stop my hair loss...

I start using Finasteride from 2.5 years ago, but unfortunately from a month i noticed new thinning and lost an amount of density and volume, so i added minoxidil with tretinoin 0.025% twice weekly , at week 3 of minoxidil i quickly lost more density and volume while shedding is not huge just 30% more than normal , should i continue like that or do something else?

Hello , is it normal to lose a lot of density and volume in just 3 weeks on minoxidil, while shedding is minimal?

Any one experienced this?

Unfortunately, Finasteride didn't stop my hair loss , now thinking about wearing a system.

I start using Finasteride from 2.5 years ,I didn't see any improvement so I said that Finasteride at least stopped my loss, but at the last month suddenly I noticed a quick thinning all around, then I start using minoxidil too but the thinning is still ongoing , and now i'am seriously considering the hair system option.

Any tips?

Please don't drink topical minoxidil...

I start using minoxidil a week ago and I was using an insulin injection to take a 2 mg dose of minoxidil orally. What happened last night at 2:00 AM was terrifying. When I tried to go to sleep, I suddenly had shortness of breath and pressure on my chest, my heart start beating in a strange and terrifying way, something like the heartbeat became very strong and I felt as if it would break my ribcage. I woke my mom and dad up and told them to take me to the hospital, luckily it is close to our house.

We went to the emergency room and the doctor examined me on the heart monitor. I told him what I had done and he quickly became very angry and disappointed . He gave me an injection that made me feel better after a few minutes. I stayed there for two hours and then went home. He advised me to stop using minoxidil even topically for at least three days.

After this experience, I tell you that not all bodies can tolerate such madness , remember that wisdom and reason are the most important things. Please don't do this shit.

Hello , does it look worse?

M 28 , I started finasteride 2.5 years ago at a dose of 1 mg daily after the occurrence of this bald spot and noticing a decrease in density. But for the past week I have started to feel as if the density has decreased again and that this bald spot has started to get worse (but I am not sure).

Here are two pictures, one of them is the short hair after 3 months of finasteride and the second is now. At that point, two weeks ago I decided to use topical minoxidil 5% once daily, dermaroller 1 mm once weekly and tretinoin 0.025% twice weekly. Although I prefer using oral minoxidil, but unfortunately it's completely unavailable in my country, and when I tried to get it from abroad, that wasn't available either because companies like Hims and others only ship to the United States.

Does anyone know if the situation is still the same as in the two photos? Are there any other tips for using minoxidil? Also, the quality of my hair has become very poor since I started going bald; it's dry, frizzy, has split ends, and a low shaft diameter. Therefore, I also use Elvive's Extraordinary Serum to make the hair look good.
