I’m planning to look at this Xterra on Saturday. It has 170k miles with recent timing kit, muffler, and water pump. It is a 2wd and will be used as my backup vehicle. I live in MN so not sure how well it’d do in the snow. Any related advice is appreciated. Thanks

I recently received a letter in the mail for a suction jet pump recall. After some research it looks like it’s not uncommon for the dealership to charge you for anything else that might fail due to the recall. Would I be better off skipping it? There is risk either way. Any input on this recall is very much appreciated.
Looking for others to share experience tuning their 1.4, specifically those paired with the 8 speed aisin automatic transmission.
My ‘19 Sportswagen is completely stock at the moment besides wheels and tint. I made an appointment next week for a stage 1 tune and decided on 87 octane in order to stay within the limits of my transmission.
I’m not expecting it to be fast nor do I intend to beat on it, just want it for merging, passing etc.
