Which has better placements and a better exposure with good crowd quality

I am planning to build a PC it has been a long time dream of mine almost 7-8 years this month I am finally getting the opportunity to get that
I am thinking about getting a high end gaming PC since I wanna do Streaming and learn video Editing other than that
I am planning to Get a used Laptop with it for college and portability
For the first year I will be staying in hostel and Am planning to keep the PC at the dorm room and take the laptop to classes
