Help- E39 Steering Wheel adjuster switch
Hello, and thanks in advance for any guidance.
I have a 2003 E39 with the electric steering column adjustment arm (smaller than the blinker or wiper arm). The plastic arm has a slight crack where it connects to the steering column (where it meets its ball joint), and I'm looking for a DIY on replacing just that part.
I've gone through the Pelican Parts steering column arm article (but they are replacing the whole steering wheel and column) and watched several YouTube videos, but haven't found anything specific to this piece on the electric column.
Can anyone point me to an actual part number, a source for the replacement arm (found one on eBay), and a DIY video? Photos of the repair or a DIY would be fantastic.

Inevitable: Who’s Your Rodgers Backup?
This isn’t doomerism- just being realistic about where we could end up.
Aaron Rodgers, when healthy, is still one of the most knowledgeable quarterbacks to ever play the game.
But he’s not 28 anymore. One massive hit, one awkward step, and we’re right back to where we were.
My gut says we’re going to be in backup territory at some point this season, and I’d rather gauge people’s thoughts now than after it happens.
