I like movies that shows both tragedy and rush and survival instinct and a little violence.
Examples: Hotel Rwanda, Sometimes in April, Blood Diamond, Cold Skin, No Country for old men and zombie movies in general.
I know Balen said some problematic stuffs but there is no way to criticize him for something that he didn't do. He never posted that post in the first place. I checked internet archive and all the sites from which we can view deleted post. After soooo many years we got a clean government and it's been 3 months since they handled office plus the old 3 taukes' are constantly spending their money(our tax money) to post as much as possible against Balen. There is this technique that Hitler followed, "Lie enough and you will make them believe it's truth". This lead people to believe that jews were the problem and resulted in deaths of 6 million(60 lakh) jews in the hand of Germans' and no German really protested or spoke against(in fact millions of Germans' supported it) it cause they really believed that Jews' were the problem.
What I mean by this: we often say,"Buddha was born in Nepal.", but we need to extend it further and say, "Buddha was born in Nepal and he WASN'T a Madhesi."
Further elaboration:
The Buddha was not Madhesi in the modern sense. He belonged to the ancient Shakya clan, whose small republic was located in the Himalayan foothills around Kapilavastu and Lumbini, long before the modern Madhesi identity existed.
The Terai was not empty at that time. A number of indigenous communities, such as the Tharu and others, had lived there for centuries.
Most of the ancestors of today's Madhesi population, however, trace their roots to migrations from present-day Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. These migrations increased significantly during the 19th and especially the mid-20th century, after malaria was brought under control and the Terai became much easier to settle.
So, while many modern Madhesis' have ancestral roots in UP and Bihar, the Buddha belonged to the ancient Shakya republic of the Himalayan foothills, not to the modern Madhesi community.
P.S: Most modern Madhesi, especially the ones who migrated, never historically followed the Buddhist teachings' and were mostly Hindu from UP-Bihar who followed the strict Varna System. Conversely, There were(and still are) some communities in India who used to worship Buddha and follow his teachings' whilst keeping distance from the vedic Hinduism and also ate beef. Those communities were later classified as "Dalits" I.e is someone out of the 4 Varna system(Bhramin, Kashtriya, Vesya and Shudra). The reason I'm saying this is my mom is from UP(a Dalit woman who doesn't belong to any Varna and continuously followed the Buddhist teachings' and never followed the vedic Hinduism doctrine by existing kattar Hindu empire from UP-Bihar region) and my dad is a Lama(tamang) from Bharatpur, Chitwan who is also a liberal and former Maoist(not a comrade tho, just a former party member who voted blue this time).
