What a lovely conversation these two must be having
Idk how this happened but it's funny

Idk how this happened but it's funny
I was watching a video of The Hollow Knight boss fight and I realized something. When the knight is focusing all the infection juice from THK, there is a big explosion from THK that is literally IN THE SHAPE OF THE RADIANCE. I thought this was so fucking cool I don't care if people knew this already it's sick af.
I remember when Drogg went into my dream and hit me with a hammer, I'll never forgive him.
I kinda rushed this, but I am proud of how the Shiver Leviathan came out.
Also this is based on that one frame of Mark running from Thragg from Invincible, if you were wondering.
Idk why I did this, I got bored I guess
I noticed there are like no posts for men's mental health and I wanted to draw some of my fav characters for a while now so I hit 2 birds with one stone. Happy pride/men's mental health month everybody!! Hope you're all enjoying time with your loved ones!
This was very fun and I loved pretty much all of it. My biggest problem with B2 was that it felt like there wasn't much content, and so I'm very glad this was a sizable dlc.
First of all, HOLY SHIT IM SO GLAD THEY BROUGHT SKINS BACK! That was the biggest loss from B1, and it makes B2 a lot more replayable. It's also really cool they added a way to replay past bosses, and I love the different decorations on each of the bowls of ashes (I assume that's what they are).
Anyway, getting into the actual new content, the art in the castle is AMAZING! I love the fancy and decorated Usurped Halls, the creepy Vibrations Of The Organs, the ethereal purple fog of Stone Entrails, and the whole snowy night vibe. The music didn't stand out to me too much, tho as of writing this, I have the Vibrations Of The Organ soundtrack in my head, that one is pretty good. Overall, love the art and vibe of the castle.
The new weapon is very cool. Really cool design, and it's really satisfying to hit enemies with. I didn't mess around with the special moves too much, but when I did it was very fun. The parkour with the grapple spots was very fun and satisfying, tho it was annoying sometimes. Some of the new Prayers are cool too, I mainly used the Hammer one and the Lighting strike, but the one where you shoot all the spears was pretty cool as well. The new enemies were fun, (Most of the time) and all of them had great designs. The glaive throwing guy was probably my fav, I love his execution animation, plus he's just fun to fight.
Now on to the main event... The Boss. Yeah she's cool. She reminds me of Isadora from the first game, and like Isadora, it's a very enjoyable, yet challenging fight. I REALLY like the attack where you have to grapple with Embrujo to avoid the fire and the swords, and it was a lot of fun whittling her down with Embrujo's fire. I do think she could use a little more variety in attacks and more health, but besides that, it was a lot of fun. I got her on 2nd try. I also like how much we know about the boss, you really kind of feel bad for her, especially when she simply asks "Hug Me" at the end of her fight. Overall, great boss, and great story surrounding her.
TD;LR, the DLC has lots of great areas, the new weapon is cool and fun to use both in combat and in traversal, and the new boss and story are great. I'd probably rate this DLC like a 9/10. legitimately, there is nothing I think was done bad, I just think some things could be better.
I drew Ten Piedad, how did I do? Also tips for how to improve would be great!
I was doing GPZ to get the golden statue, I was literally about to die, he was doing the nail charge attack, there was a winged zoteling in the air, and I D-Darked, and beat him finally. That was so fucking stressful, and so goddamn rewarding too. I lowkey love GPZ, even if he is pretty annoying lol. It's so satisfying to finally best his random attacks cleanly.
There's 7 backgrounds, heres them listed:
Silksong
Citadel of Song
Cradle
Greyroot
Abyss
Surface
Steel Soul
My favorite one is by far the Citadel one, I love the way the windows in the back look, and the shining on the needle is just perfect. The steel soul one is a really cool flex though.
Which one is your favorite?
