I finally have more highlights/trending than standard players in my current spurs team.

They are very difficult to track.

As you can see they start running super early which means if you are aware of it it’s nearly almost always a guaranteed shot or goal.

As they start running from far outside the box kompany was completely unaware of Rooney and varane couldn’t come across because he would have left space for batistuta.

This led to a free header.

Any other f2p winger would have been molested by gullit but because of high pc and balance he survived and scored a nice goal.

Usually nothing happens when I try one I normally just end up losing the ball but it finally led to a goal.

What the fuck is this?

Did I do something wrong?

Surely that shouldn’t get through.

Quite literally their ONLY chance of the game.

Fuck this.

I will start by saying he is one of my favourite footballers. A great professional, a great a guy and an absolute baller . A great role model of mine.

On the ball he is really nice. His small frame and high tight possesion means he has great turning. He has a nice dt as well which means you shouldn't be afraid to hold the ball a little.

His passing is quite nice as well. He can distribute it well to the wide areas and he can play a neat through pass when needed. In terms of lofted pass I've only ever really switched it it to the wings but he does that nicely.

Defensively he is am absolute monster. Absolutely rapid with great positioning and awareness as well being a very good tackler. He is very tenacious like irl. If someone gets passed you he will press immediately and he often wins the ball back due to his pace. When I use call for pressure he is crazy as well. Absolute demon. No other way to describe it he plays exactly like he does irl. He has fortress as well so it makes him even better in the second half if you've scored

His only weak points are his player model and his loq physicality. You could definitely increase the physicality though but I am very happy with this build it has been cooking for me. Lemme know if there is a better one though.

Overall the absolute fucking goat I can't believe they gave him out for free. This is probably part of the reason we get madueke now.

Rooney is the goat.

I recently got isa diop and I have had a lot of fun using the extra frontman play style.

The way he stays around the box like a true cf is really crazy and due to his height baresi had no chance.

I think the game’s biggest strength is the fact we can use all these creative combinations and create beautiful tactics.

But 9/10 games are the same!

Everyone seems to use lbc with the same narrow formation.

I don’t even think it’s that effective.

Maybe it’s just me but I think you can have more fun by experimenting with different tactics.

Otherwise what is the point of Konami having different playstyles? They’re there in the game to be effective. No play style in the game is bad.( maybe cross specialist is a bit mid but I’ve found the work well in 3241)

Anyways I think at the end of the day we should just have fun. Maybe for some lbc is fun but me personally I don’t get it.

I think everyone should experiment more as well as that’s where the most fun is in the game.

Well worked goal. Was perhaps lucky with the Marseille turn but we take it.

Fuck this game, brainless kickoff through pass rewarded through Konami bs.

Should have easily regained possession instead I concede.

Best lmf/lwf they’ve given for free.

So much chemistry down the left as well.

If you have any good attacking fullback, like zanetti,Cafu oddo or even a potw Trent this is the easiest way to score.

I am lucky to have Carlos on the left and zanetti on the right who are both great at this exact move. I will say Carlos is better because of his frame and physicality but zanetti does this loads as well.

The overlapping run combined with a high pace fullback getting to the byline and cutting in is super strong because of the cfs movement.

Forlan stands in actual acres of space making it so easy to score.

Every time if you just wait until the cf comes back out into space it’s practically a guaranteed shot on target.

The best part is that it’s so sudden not many opponents will be able to track it, they will be too busy pressing the ball carrier.

Sometimes if we just sit and watch the game makes it so convenient to score.

Just by holding the ball a little with forlan diaz makes the incisive run for an easy well worked goal.

I’ve had a lot of fun pushing from 2000 to 2070 with this team.

It’s so insanely easy to keep possession with the lmf and rmf there’s so many options through the middle.

The formation is easy to use with qc as well as you can press high and win the ball easily.

I think the key thing is having aggressive lmfs and rmfs. Both Zaniolo and Szoboszlai are super strong and aggressive so they are able to win the ball high up the pitch.

It’s extremely compact and tight meaning it’s super easy to defend.

I have been playing a 3atb for ages though so I might be biased as playing 4 atb is like playing the game in easy mode.

If you need more offence you can change a dmf to a cmf.

The main attacking patterns are just keep rotating the ball until someone makes a run, then a nicely timed pass.

Or use some dribbling to get to the byline with a winger and then a cutback or cross.

It’s super easy to keep leads and super easy to attack and defend.

Definitely recommend trying this out.

The main thing is to put defensive on Carlos. This way there is always someone there covering the right flank

I didn’t tight mark any of the three crossers as it would have left a lot of space for the other two.

Also as soon as I lost the ball I would immediately press like crazy with gerrard. I always brought him over to the left to cover the area where his crossers are.

His moves are extremely predictable just spread the ball wide to the right and try and ping pong his way to a cross.

By putting gerrard there we can cut passing lanes and easily win the ball back.

Mainly just keep possession and keep passing it around. They will get frustrated press too much and then you can capitalise on the mistake.

Hopefully this helps you against the most annoying play style in the game.

Once again I tried to cross 2000 with my POTD/pots team.

However match making was against me like crazy

First time I got to around 1984 against some guy at 2200. I was leading for most of the game and then in the 93rd minute and then fucking Ankara messi full on bodied my 195 cm Jack hendry to blitz it into to the top corner. This meant I drew and had to win one more game.

So obviously the game matches me up against a p2w top 1k player. I lose 30 points.

I drag myself back up to 1994. The game spend a solid two minutes matching me some top 1k player who’s just beginning their push. I get cooked and drop 30 points again.

I got so frustrated I had to switch to my op main team. I was glad I did because I immediately faced another top 1k player. Two top 1k players back to back is genuinely awful. I won the second one though

Anyways I went on an unbeaten run to 2000.

Game is genuinely against you if you run possession and a weak team. Even my main team is weak compared to everyone else’s.

Still had a lot of fun playing some good football.

Originally I was playing a 352 to division 1 however after struggling a bit I decided to return to 3241.

It is still as goated as ever so many midfield options,so much width and space it’s really nice.

We simply progress the ball up the pitch and with sharp passing we can rotate the ball around the pitch superbly well.

Standout performers are messi and Lee kang in. The way they control the tempo in the midfield is really something crazy.

Off the bench Haaland and mbappe are my go to combination. Mbappe down the left is a demon and Haaland is great fro one touch play and has some aerial presence.

I was impressed with sarr as well guy has decent pc and comes with all necessary skill moves

Most of these POTD’s are pretty good however there’s no way I can survive without garner and tchoameni 😄 they are literally cheatcodes. Deep line on tchoameni and defensive on garner basically negates any ping pong passing.

Anyways I’m about 1925 atm so should get to 2000 pretty comfortably again.

Even though I lost was still a good game.

The game is more enjoyable when it’s a tight match as it’s more realistic.

It’s Close to real football the way a match can just be decided by one moment.

Sucks I didn’t draw though😭.

So I was fairly lucky to not get madueke and I got kovacic pretty early.

There's honestly not much to write about him.

He's average, stats are pretty good.

Defends pretty well, and can progress the ball up the pitch.

He suffers from a poor player model though

Thats basically it.

I think the unfortunate thing is I already have much better midfielders who I would rather use in midfield such as tonali,Gerrard and kante

He also has visionary pass which is not the greatest.

Overall I would say he's solid ,just a shame he's useless to me.
