I am having a lot of fun with him on the right wing.

His height makes him very nimble, his turning is elite.

Dribbling and pace is very good as well, acceleration burst makes him very dangerous as opponents can’t press you heavily as you can escape easily with it. It also helps him cut inside effectively.

The main thing is he can pass nicely. A lot of free wingers like barcola and Diaz are rubbish at passing. Conceicao can at least cross decently and play some very nice through passes.

Only drawbacks are his weak foot and pc. Pc is not really an issue for a winger as you can just pass if you can’t dribble out of the press.

He is fun.

For the first time I no longer have any standard cards in my starting 11 (ignore vicario I know he has left but Kinsky is kind of unplayable). Shame the entire club is a massive joke and completely shit.

Grealish’s pass was nice.

From right to left to the middle.

Song change made me lock in.

Overload is pretty fun but is a bit too aggressive for me.

In the 442 shape you will clearly see everyone shift to the left or right which makes it super easy to attack. Using short passes was really easy as everyone is on the same side. You also force your opponent to shift to your side as well which can leave some space on the other side for the other wide midfielder. One issue I noticed is that goal poachers were not really running that effectively. In possession they run quite a lot

However defensively I was not very comfortable. Might be the new update and everything but I struggled a lot. Overload is super aggressive I couldn’t really hesitate. I just had to keep pressing aggressively. However everyone being on one side does definitely help against narrow meta player. As they have no width it’s quite easy to press high and you won’t really get punished if there is no width.

Overall it’s a more aggressive possession but personally I prefer possession. I play more calmly I don’t really like the aggression.

In terms of the new playstyles front line pressure is ok. Not really too incredible but noticeable when the opponents start passing it around the backline.

However all action defender and pass disruptor are pretty great. All action defender is super noticeable. Cunha was tracking back like he has bills to pay and then you will notice him being aggressive in duels as well.

Pass disruptor on palmer was very good as well. Even with no defensive stats you will see him getting into good positions and blocking the passing lanes. Even though I prefer ndiaye I was using palmer more because of pass disruptor.

I don’t really understand why people don’t use width. I don’t understand how you are meant to just play through the middle all the time. Spreading the play wide is one of the easiest ways to always have a passing option.

Usually this does not happen and I fail miserably losing the ball.

Lucky it wasn’t cleared of the line as well lol that happens way too much.

The way you can pass through some people is so satisfying.

The midfield triangles are so peak. Opponent was ahh just pressing when he shouldn’t have but was a nice goal anyways.

Opponent was kinda rubbish but I hope you see how much control I have in the game.

I have so much time and space because I don’t sprint. By selecting players with good control and passing if you don’t sprint it’s very easy to never lose the ball.

Like if I had sprinted into viera with rodrygo I can guarantee I would have lost the ball.

Try not sprinting and you will be amazed by how much better the game feels.

Only time I really sprint is on the wings on an overlapping run. You can sprint if you see a clear gap though.

I will go slide by slide explaining my thoughts and stuff.

I will also link the goal for 4th slide and link another example of good play below as it would be more helpful for you to actually see it in case this stuff is not clear. I might link the midfield triangle vid as well. That is one of the key points of possession game so it would be good if you can learn to use them to their full potential.

1. All that really matters is good team selection. With the above team I can draw to top 1k players, top 100 players and beat most other people. I still lose as well but that’s part of the game. I rarely lose though tbh.This team is easily able to reach 2200 so if you use your main teams with epics and showtimes the process will be a lot easier and you should be able to get to 2300/2400 I think.

The key playstyles are you must have an offensive gk, an anchorman and two offensive fullbacks. These are non negotiable I think. However you can use a dfb and a more offensively focused cmf(any hole player cmf).Anything else works fine. After testing it out however I think hole players are the most optimum play style for the wide midfielders. Inactive play styles,creative playmakers and roaming Flanks work well as well.

2. Once you see the triangle form and you get the person pressing In it it’s immensely satisfying and easy to pass through their press. No matter who the defender is they will be cooked.

I also want to show how effective it is to think ahead and approach possession logically like chess. Every time you pass you should have a clear picture of where you want the ball to go and what your end goal is. If I had opted to pass from olmo to Haaland I can guarantee you that the movements and passing I have shown would have happened. This is due to my choice of playstyles and by thinking ahead. The quick passes would have left my opponent unable to react and I’m pretty certain as rodrygo is cutting in from wide ,the rb would not have been aware and I could have got a nice goal. I opted for the triangle though😭.

3. This is why you need offensive fullbacks. Any wide midfielder playstyles will drift inwards and as quite often the lb/rb has to go with a quick overlapping run from the fullback is an easy way to get some space and move up the pitch.

4. Switching the play to the wide areas and getting pressed is like a dream scenario. This is exactly why width is so important. Palmer holds the ball and baits the press and as we have a hole player at amf he makes the run behind for an easy pass. Very effective move.

5. Just showing the potential of what you can achieve. Insane efficiency and utter dominance. (This is like the best example I’ve ever had don’t expect this every game). The average result is probably around 65 to 70% possession with more chances created normally.

Lucky with the own goal but the build up was good.

Saw an edit of Sean Dyche and had to implement it in game.

Just hoof it to the big man up top then knock it down to whoever is free.

Hold the ball with the winger and wait for the overlapping run from the fullback. Then run to the byline. Either cross or rotate the ball and dribble with the wingers or play it into the big man for a few one touch passes to get it to the quick striker who should score.

Defensively very compact as well if you have aggressive rmfs and lmfs. People will find it very difficult to break down due to lbc as well.

Just like how Sean Dyche wanted you leave no space and then aggressively counter quickly.

Genuinely game saving block to save me getting clipped from kickoff.

Just look at this. There is no weakness at all in this card. I'm not even including the stat buffs from the showtime skills.

I think this kills the somewhat competitive element of the game that was there before.

Before it was quite frankly easy to reach 2100,2200 with potws. I even reached 2100 with my mid asf spurs team, barely above 3000.

But now when I see these stats I don't even know what to say anymore. This messi has more pc than my rijkaard. Like what I am even meant to do at this point.

On top of this they are making the rewards significantly worse. I can't even improve my main team team with what they give out for free anymore.

They still give out cards from 3 years ago and expect us to be satisfied whilst they release even more broken cards week in week out.

The game is practically stagnant with no improvements for my main team.

I don't even care about power creep tbh, I just don't want it to get even wider like it is right now.

You can give me any remotely useable double booster epic and I would be happier than getting 60 tries to pack some shitty Puyol.

The game is not going in a good direction.

Momentum dribbling and some finishing is not saving this Bergkamp.

When compared to single booster Sneijder from a couple of years ago you honestly can't say definitively who is better.

Tbh I would say sneijder is better. The balance, superb kicking power and curl as well as the perfect weak foot make him better in my eyes.

For Bergkamps side you could say the finishing, pc and oa are better. But honestly the balance is a massive issue and nothing is coming close to sneijders in game feel. I don't really think oa even matter for creative playmakers as well tbh.

This is the problem. You would expect that a card released two years later should be better than one released two years earlier. But this is not the case.

I'm not saying that this Bergkamp is bad. He is definitely useable but we should be seeing improvements.

Konami should be improving on the old cards given for free not keeping the new ones at the same level or even worse!.
