Hey, giving this another shot and seeing where it goes.

I'm 30, born and brought up in Bangalore, 5'10", and from a mechanical background. I work in fabrication QA/QC, so most of my weekdays are spent dealing with work and pretending I have my life figured out.

Outside work, I like riding, travelling, watching movies, cooking, and going for long walks. I've been trying to make more time for the gym as well. I enjoy going out and exploring, but I'm equally happy staying in, cooking something and watching a movie.

I'm probably a little quiet when I first meet someone, but once I'm comfortable I can talk about pretty much anything. I'd say I'm fairly calm and practical, and I value honesty, good communication and being able to actually talk things through.

I'm looking for someone around 26–30, preferably in Bangalore or open to eventually being here. I'm not looking for something casual. I'd like to meet someone I genuinely connect with, take the time to know each other properly and, if things work out, eventually build towards marriage.

A few things that matter to me are being kind, emotionally mature, independent and having a sense of humour. I don't really have a long checklist though. I'd rather see how we get along than decide everything on paper.

I'm Telugu-speaking and from a middle-class family. I'm not particularly interested in making caste or community a deciding factor.

As for the rest, I'd rather leave some things for an actual conversation instead of writing an entire autobiography here.

I come from a middle-class Hindu family—dad is retired and mom is close to retirement. I’m fluent in English, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi; I also know a bit of Tamil and can understand Malayalam.

In terms of lifestyle, I occasionally smoke and drink. I try to stay active—walk regularly and fit in gym sessions when possible.
