I’m looking for recommendations for an estate attorney in the area, preferably one who is left-leaning.

If I’m not interested in the steam function, will the normal cycles still run if there’s no water connected? I assume yes, but not sure if it could be an all or nothing situation. Looking at a LG DLEX4080W.

I know they use local third party installers and delivery issues can be regional, so I’m just curious if your experiences. Looking to get an electric dryer.

We have a Frigidaire Affinity electric dryer from 2012, model FASE7074LW0. We've had to replace the heating element 3 times over the years and now it seems that time again. We are not DIY people. Is it worth repairing given its age? I'm guessing it's at least $300 to hire a professional for this. WWYD?

Background: 44 yo-8/2025 Stage 1 IDC ER/PR+, DMX to flat 10/2025, gene mutation, no chemo/radiation, Tamoxifen 10 mg, Total hysterectomy with oophorectomy 4/15/26 so surgical menopause.

Thankfully I started with thick shoulder length hair but a few months ago (before the hysterectomy), I noticed it thinning above my ears. It’s only noticeable when I put it in a ponytail, otherwise the top layers cover it. last night i noticed it has gotten much worse. It has to be the lack of hormones.

I asked my onc about it today and she recommended minoxidol. I read you can never stop it once you start which scares me since I was hoping after I’m done with the tamoxifen in 10 years it’ll get better but maybe not.

Thought I’d ask for your experiences and suggestions. Anyone use a red light therapy helmet?

I‘m 44 and had a risk reducing laparoscopic total hysterectomy including ovaries and tubes removed on 4/15. I had very very minimal light pale brown spotting from the beginning but 4 days ago on Sunday night at 4.5 wpo, I had a decent amount of bright red blood and it was dripping out of me Seemingly out of nowhere. I hadn’t done anything but sit on the couch. It wasn’t enough to fill a pad in 2 hrs, though. Tuesday and Wednesday, when I went to the bathroom after waking up, bright red blood was dripping out of me, but nothing on the pad from overnight and nothing during either day.

I called the surgeon Monday morning and they said to monitor and call back today (Wednesday) if I was still bleeding. I have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked out.

How normal is this? How worried should I be? I am still off work and have not been overdoing it or doing much of anything at all. My husband has been taking care of the house and the dog. I go back to my desk job Friday but I already arranged to work from home that day. Back to commuting on Tuesday.

My 20 yr old son is starting a new summer job tomorrow. He is a full time college student and we claim him a a dependent. I need help on how to tell him to fill out the W4. He will make approximately $9500 by the end of the summer. I also plan to help him start a Roth IRA.

Is it correct that he can fill out the W4 as exempt? He did not work last summer.

I had a DMX to flat in October for stage 1 IDC. At the time of the surgery, we thought it was DCIS based on the biopsy. In January I had a chest xray to check for pneumonia and the report showed that there’s still the metal clip in my chest. Was that supposed to be removed during the DMX or do they purposely leave it in? Does the fact that it’s still in mean they missed removing some of the tissue? I had clear margins but they were very slim because the cancer was right against my chest wall.

have my first follow up with my surgeon next week and can ask but wanted to see what the norm is and Google is conflicted.
