The globally released Beyond Dunk is a tribute to Alvar Aalto, a pioneer modernist architect and designer who shares an unexpected connection with the birth of modern skateboarding. It can be traced back to the first documented freeform pool at Villa Mairea, Finland (1939), designed by Alvar Aalto. In this pool curved lines replaced traditional rectangular shapes.
Jyväskylä, the hometown of both Beyond and Aalto, is renowned for its numerous Aalto-designed buildings. The surrounding Finnish nature has been a vital source of inspiration for Aalto's design work.
The sneaker, which references Aalto's architectural details, has been approved by the Alvar Aalto Foundation.
The Beyond Dunk embodies Scandinavian functionalism. The sneaker's birch-toned Swoosh nods to Aalto's iconic furniture. The outsole highlights the rich red brick favored in his building designs. The high-top heel panel reflects the signature blue glazed ceramic tiles seen across Aalto's most famous sites.

And yes for context regarding the “Hot Pepper” part of the title, that is the theme/inspiration of the colorway. The pepper on the 1996 San Antonio All Star Weekend jerseys, i wish i was kidding but what i was told in the past was that there is a Hot Pepper themed colorway releasing in the Later half of 2026, was only told never shown, and someone else showed the jersey and I immediately connected the dots that this is that hot pepper colorway. Dont shoot the messenger

Made this order back in May with the TCGplayer promotion going on. Seller provided me with a shipping label made in March and was expected to be delivered on June 6th. the order ended up in Guam for a whole week and is now in Micronesia. I live in SoCal. a package from Hawaii to SoCal doesn’t go through Guam atleast from past experiences

They gonna release at skateshops in the US on June 12, more than likely no snkrs release here due to changes in whats considered skateshop exclusive product here in the states
Title, if you been seeing my comments of an older SB model returning this year specifically around the time of the world cup, as there is going to be a world cup colorway and this collab will be releasing before the world cup, well here it is, they brought back the SB Tennis Classic. Already assumed nobody would care so yeah,
Anyway here they are, more colorways coming out theres a Pink and Black pair releasing next season for the World Cup and so on afterwards.
