Ezra/Mondae Provider Review- $145/month & My Experience

I wanted to leave a review of my experience with Ezra (now Mondae) since I know a lot of people here are comparing providers.
I signed up because they advertise $145/month and told me that price would stay the same for life, which was a huge selling point for me. I was started at 1.5mg of tirzepatide with glycine and was told to increase every 2 weeks.
The first issue I ran into was the following month when my credit card blocked the payment. I went into the portal and manually charged my card. Ezra told me there was an issue with the pharmacy because the pharmacy was still showing the prescription as unpaid and wouldn’t fill it. They ended up switching me to another pharmacy that normally costs $10 more, but reassured me that I would still pay $145/month, which I appreciated.
Then I received my medication from the new pharmacy and realized I hadn’t been sent enough for the prescribed dosing. There was a little bit of back and forth with Ezra that was frustrating, but they eventually acknowledged that I was sent the wrong amount and sent me an entire additional vial at no extra cost.
Customer service can be a little slow. It can take a couple days to get a response and they don’t respond on weekends, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind if you have an issue that needs to be resolved quickly. But overall, I’ve been happy with how they’ve handled things. Even though I’ve had a couple issues, they’ve ultimately fixed them without charging me extra.
So far I’d definitely use Ezra again. The $145 pricing has been honored even after switching pharmacies, and I really appreciate that they made the medication issue right when it was their mistake. Just don’t expect super fast responses, especially on weekends.

Exhausted with in-laws

Looking for advice. In laws had a baby about 3 months ago. I expected the family dynamic to change but my gosh is it exhausting. Every interaction i’ve had with my mother in law since my sister in law got pregnant has been “have you seen insert random baby detail here” or asking questions about pregnancy because I work in the medical field. Every single time we visit them and are spending time the baby, there has to be a comment made about when/if I want kids. She knows I don’t want kids. I feel like she respects me less than her other daughter in law because I don’t want kids and the other one does.

My partner brings up the baby ALL the time. I feel like i’m surrounded by constant baby talk. He goes over to see the baby often and sends me lots of pictures.. then we talk on the phone.. baby updates.. then we see eachother.. more baby updates. They’re not really even updates.. more so stuff like “their face has changed so much!” or “they love to sleep”.. just kinda random details if that makes sense. Evidently i’ve made it clear i’m not interested in talking about that constantly because at a recent event with my best friend, he brings the baby up. I’m obviously uninterested. He then tells my best friend “she gets jealous when I bring ___ up.” So frustrating to realize he’s been taking my disinterest in the child as “she’s just jealous”.. like no, i’d like to spend time with my partner without hearing about this child 24/7?

I decided to distance myself from the family after the last visit we had. Constant baby talk, pressured with “you really can’t ever see yourself doing this?”. Then in the middle of celebrating a different family member’s birthday (EATING mind you) they change the baby on the table.. like in front of everyone.. while we’re eating. I couldn’t even hide the disgust on my face.. like are we serious?

I appreciate any advice. Honestly it was SO refreshing to find this sub after feeling completely overwhelmed with baby talk.

edit: wow, i truly appreciate the responses. thank you everyone

Cut my ankle on a metal ladder in a lake yesterday. Looking for advice.

I’m a 24F and yesterday I cut my ankle on a metal ladder attached to a dock while getting out of a lake.
It’s been about 24 hours now. I cleaned it when I got home, and it isn’t bleeding anymore. It’s not really painful, but it’s right over my ankle so it moves every time I walk. I attached a picture.
A few questions:
Does this look like something that should be seen at urgent care?
Should I keep it covered with a bandage or let it air out?
Since it happened in a lake, should I be worried about needing antibiotics?
I think my last tetanus shot was around age 16, so about 8 years ago. Should I get a booster?
I’m mostly worried because of the lake water and the fact that it’s over a joint. Thanks for any advice!
