My Experian, trans union, and Equifax scores are in the 700 but my FICO score is 650?

Any idea why my fico score is so low?

A ramble review.

This movie was pretty decent. Great eighties aesthetic, the child acting was good. Anne Hathaway was a stand out. Ewan McGregor seems a little miss cast. He is good at playing the dad where everything slides off his back but his accent is distracting. He speaks in a deliberate tone and you can tell he is struggling to hold his native accent back. I thought someone with comedic chops like Ty Burrell could really excel in this role. Maybe Chris Pine? You can tell Hathaway took up most of the casting budget. The cgi was pretty terrible. Some of the dinosaurs were looking like they came out of “Walking with Dinosaurs”.

How do we feel about Mathis?

Pros: 1. He actually respected Peggy as a boss. 2. He has some talent, as he was able to survive the merger and Peggy went to bat for him with Pete. 3. He tried to set up Peggy with his brother in law to some success.

Cons: 1. He is not the best public speaker. 2. Called Don untalented. Even though his works speaks for itself. 3. Voted for Nixon.

What do you think of Pauline’s and Sally’s relationship.

I got the vibe that Pauline really did care for Sally, she was just from a stricter generation. Henry seems like a decent guy. She couldn’t have been too bad as a mom.

Did anyone want a house like this as a kid?

91 millennial here. I don’t know why, but I am nostalgic for the home designs of the late 90s/early 2000s. I remember when homes felt lived in and had lots of natural light. It seemed cozier than the homes of today.

Garth

Why do you think he is mayday? His Dad is a vegetable because of mayday but he still wants to bring down Gilead. I want to see a flashback episode on him next season.

Does student loan forgiveness only happens once? I am doing PSLF for my bachelors. If I get a masters, will they forgive my debt if they already forgave my masters?

The summer man challenge update: In true Don fashion, I am quitting and starting again!

So I did the challenge for 3 days and stopped yesterday. As background, I am a couch potato. The only regular exercise I get is walking my dog for 2 miles every 3-5 times a week. I chose swimming because it’s exercise but it’s not as intensive as other forms of cardio. I don’t like lifting weights. Plus, I love Mad Men and I thought Don’s routine was cool.

I usually drink one alcoholic beverage a day. On days a plenty, I drink 3-6 depending on the occasion. There are days I don’t drink and I don’t crave a drink. My doctor says I drink a bit too much. I think keeping the drink to once a day is okay. I try to only drink after 5 pm.

I liked the journaling aspect of this challenge. Don’s right, it does feel silly writing about what happened during the day, but I started to use journaling as a way to plan for the future.

As for the swimming… well I can confidently say, I cant really swim but I know how to not drown in open water. I have ass form and I swim very slowly. It does make me feel good to be in the water though. You feel cleaner after swimming. The hardest part of swimming is logistical for me. The gym I usually go to has a pool but the water was very dirty. I had red eyes the next day. I went to another gym and while the water is very clean, the pool is very crowded. If you go at the wrong time, you won’t have a chance to swim. I work from 8-5. All gyms are packed from 5-9. So I have a small window to actually swim. I did find a gym that is dead after 10 pm though.

The reason why I stopped though because I got an injury. I was swimming on Monday night and was doing twist flips on the back wall of the pool. I twisted my right calf the wrong way and got a cramp. I got out of the pool and walked with a limp. Apparently, this is a common swimming injury but I was told to take a rest day. My leg feels a lot better, so I am going to start swimming again tonight.

TLDR: I got hurt swimming and took a rest day. Going to restart the swimming today.

I’m doing the summer man challenge.

For the next 30 days starting today:

I will journal every day

Swim for at least 30 minutes every day

Only have one alcoholic drink per day.

Hopefully I can stick with it! Wish me luck.
