Best Time To Call Scottish Retentions?

I have been receiving texts from VM about needing to change my V6 box to a TV 360 due to them no longer supporting the V6. I want to use this as an opportunity to renegotiate my contract and see if I can get anything better and would like to know when are the best times to call the Scottish retentions team (I presume 02073436947 is still the best number?). Thanks.

Which Air Purifier For Hayfever UK?

Hi, I have a friend who in the last couple of years has started to suffer from hayfever and it seems to get worse each year. She is taking medication (not sure what but she was taking Allevia at one point) and I thought an air purifier in her bedroom might help. She says her symptoms make her feel like she has the flu and just very congested and sneezing a lot and trouble with her eyes.

She isn't very technically minded so I am looking for something basic, preferably no app control and easy to use, just set and forget. And also something small she can put on a bedside table.

I am not sure of her room size, she lives in a standard mid-terrace house so it won't be very big and I don't know what her specific allergies are but presumably pollen related as it is much worse in hot and sunny weather. Budget is around £100-150.

Please can I have some suggestions, thanks.

18i20 4th Gen vs Clarett 8 Pre ?

Hi, I currently have a 1st Gen Scarlett 18i8 and want to upgrade and get a modern rack mount audio interface. I am not sure whether to get a 3rd or 4th Gen Scarlett 18i20 or a standard or plus model Clarett 8 Pre.

I want something that has a good headphone output for my Sennheiser HD650's as I will only be using headphones and not monitors and something that good mic gain for my Audio Technica AT-2040.

I find that while my 1st Gen 18i8's headphone out is good, the mic gain is pretty low and I have to turn it up pretty high (unless I use my Cloudlifter). I have been using a DBX 286s as a preamp instead and then going into the line-in of the 18i8 but it has a bit of buzzing on it and the mic cable feels quite loose and causes problems. I am using Roland RMC-B3 and Black Series cables.

Anyway, what would people advise please?
