Atrophy in good leg

Hi, I have a rather large dent in my left leg just above my knee at the bottom of that muscle. My orthopedic friend looked and said yes that is atrophy. It is my good leg though? Does anyone have any insight on why this would happen with my good leg? I have right side weakness and twitching for 5 plus months now.

Mute plantar reflex

I went for my follow up with neuro and my plantar response was normal last visit roughly 6 weeks ago. Now it is mute. Has anyone had this happen? I still have right sided weakness with all over twitching. My right shoulder and foot give me the post trouble. I feel like I will never be normal again.

“Etiology remains unclear. Differential includes idiopathic small fiber neuropathy of BLEs, functional neurologic disorder, and less likely but possible early/undetectable CNS disorder.”

Help

I am feeling like a crazy person at this point. Right sided weakness that started December- persistent is only slightly worse. I have body wide fasciculations and 24/7 on my tongue. cramps that come and go some. I have achy pains on my right shoulder and hip also in my wrist. My ankle is stiff and when I walk a decent amount my smaller toes have pain especially my second toe. It feels like it’s pushed up. My thumb has crampy aches and pains also. I get cramps in the back of my bicep. I have not noticed any any muscle shrinking but have debilitating symptoms and fatigue. I did have a normal EMG late March. I just need to know what other things can cause all these symptoms? normal bloodwork, normal brain and spine mri. I am a busy mom of 3 and get distracted easily.. I know these are real and not all in my head. Help please.

Leg dent

I started with right side weakness back in December, then twitching all over maybe March. i have achy shoulder pain, wrist, thumb pain, and my smaller toes all in the right side. I did have a normal emg a month ago, but now have a large dent above my knee in my leg. Has anyone had this? I don’t know how to explain my persistent symptoms.

started with weakness right side mostly arm. I have bad joint pain on right side also. mainly shoulder and hip. One day I have a bad Charlie horse leg cramp and then twitching started all over. Cramps have been intermittent but I twitch all over daily. Now my tongue for roughly 3 weeks has twitched nonstop 24/7. I cant feel it.. only see it. They are at rest in my mouth but it’s harder to see the sides that are a constant rhythmic flicker. Any insight with the tongue? I know people seem to think it’s a bad sign but can this be normal? To edit a month ago I had a normal arm and leg Emg. It was before the tongue started however and my right side weakness is not any better. They are thinking some type of Neuropathy but also have not seen the tongue slunch my last visit.

Hi. I have had right side weakness worse in the arm for 3 plus months now. Body wide twitching started around 6 weeks ago. cramping intermittently. I have 24/7 at rest twitching on my tongue. joint pain in right side only which is worse in the shoulder. My thumb and second toe are very stiff. I know a clean emg should mean no als.. but I am getting worse by the day with no answers or reason. I also have had a significant change in my GI tract any insight?

I made a post and video about having 24/7 tongue fasciculstions recently. Today about midway through the day under my chin got so tight and my tongue felt like it was drawn back in my mouth. It was extremely uncomfortable. I can talk- but it was painful to try to do so. Any insight?

Hi! I made a post earlier but was unable to add the video- basically I had right sided weakness and had a normal emg of my right arm and leg. A few days later I noticed that my tongue twitches.. it never stops this is 24/7. I can’t feel it but every time I look its the same. Should I be concerned? Still have right sided weakness with leg cramps and twitching.

Hi! I started with right sided weakness and weird GI symptoms. I then got a really bad cramp in the back of my right leg and body wide fasciculations. I went to the emergency room because nothing relieved the leg cramp. They did every blood test, brain/spine MRI, and an EMG which were all normal. A few days after I noticed that my tongue ”twitches“ 24/7. It has been about 10 days and it never stops. (I cannot feel it only see it) Should I be worried? I still have right sided weakness and cramps. No answer yet on that but I stopped worrying about that after a clean EMG of my right arm and leg. I am wondering if the EMG should have covered more than just right leg and arm?

Hi! I am a 32F and nervous that I have ALS. I have 24/7 tongue fasciculations and body wide fasciculations throughout the day. My right leg cramps intermittently. I have an EMG that showed 0 abnormalities but it was only done on my right leg and right arm. (My right arm has slight weakness) Should I still be concerned about ALS since my neck/ tongue area was not tested? or more areas?
