R2r backpacking off corridor camping

Hi everyone! My daughter and I are trying to plan a last minute r2r backpacking trip. We're not in incredible shape, and we want to take our time enjoying the scenery over a few days. We are confident in our health and abilities.

So I am trying to find out more about camping areas. We will be applying for last minute permits when we get there. I know there is cottonwood, havasupai, bright angel campgrounds, but where else can you camp? I have read that you may have to be flexible, and go off corridor for the last minute permits, but where are the permits for? Where is off corridor camping? Is it designated spots, other campgrounds, or just primitive? I just want to have some ideas on the extra hiking and time we may have to consider.

Edit: we plan to go at the beginning of October, but waiting on my daughter to get her schedule. We also have lived in the Appalachians for 30+ years and have a lot of camping and hiking experience, but this is my 2nd backpack and her 1st.

1 minute ads and have to visit site.

This is getting ridiculous. Im talking about the ads for the free gifts. I bought the no ads package years ago. Lately ive been getting 1 minute ads, and i cant even back out of them. I have to close the app to avoid them and then reopen. I also am getting ads that you have to go to the website and then click back to be able to get an x. I think this is ridiculous, and at this point, enough for me to stop playing. Its summer time, and with lots going on, im usually only on a few minutes each day to get the free gifts.

Edit: I do understand the need for ads, and that they are optional. I dont have a problem with that. I think it's exploitation to use ads to create traffic to websites. What happens if it links to a dangerous site, and then the websites it does link to are getting our information when we visit and probably creating more junk mail for us. Ads for profit is understandable, but there should be reasonable boundaries.
