In the recent podcast with Knapp, Bigelow and Fugal, Bigelow tells the story of a security guard who was feeling ill, then some orbs came and then the guard felt good. He says he took pictures of it, but... Where are they?
So much stuff is claimed to happen in Skinwalker Ranch but I still haven't seen any convincing evidence.
This is the video. https://youtu.be/nxi9PBjw4DY?si=yf6yaUQmm0mPaWek
He tells the story between 47:35 and 49:25
I've seen so many pictures of G-Shock owners showing their watch covered in dirt or mud, going hiking etc, but a sub $50 Casio with decent WR could hold up just as well for those activities. They spend hundreds of dollars for protection they won't actually need.
It's rare to see (at least here on Reddit) people who REALLY abuse their G-Shocks or doing stuff that a cheap watch would not be able to stand.
I'm usually an open minded person but these rings I genuinely don't understand. 😅
They are so small you can't really see the hour, so they don't work as a watch. They look (and are) like a miniature watch, so they look off as a ring. And to make matters worse, they look like a $5 toy you get in a piñata but are actually super expensive.
Why?!? Why does a product like this exist and who buys it? 🤯 If you have one, why did you like it? What did you find appealing about it? I recognize it's an unusual thing to wear, so maybe that, but is it worth the price?
Really curious to hear your experience with these.
Watching reviews on YouTube or threads here on Reddit I get the impression many people say Baby Gs are for girls because they are small, but a F-91W (or similar vintage Casios) are even smaller and men use them no problem.
I am aware that Baby Gs are marketed as girls'watches, but if they didn't have any branding, would people still think that? Is it just marketing on people's minds?
I really don't get it!
This negative display is absolute trash. What's the point of a watch if you can't see the hour? It only looks barely OK under perfect lighting, but the rest of the time it's terrible.
I love Casio but this one feels like a scam.
I guess the convertible part is custom made. Would have loved to see it with the roof down.
They look very cool in photos or if the lightning is perfect, but most of the time it isn't easy to read, for me at least. A bit frustrating.
I already took its strap for another watch. Now it will be put to rest. ⚰️
Usually compact watches like the F-91w or the A-158 etc have a basic set of functions. But this watch (it's technically a B-640 with a resin strap, which would make it a W-202 without the color accents) is practically the same size as the F-91w and it's loaded with nice functions.
- Decent backlight
- Decent water resistance
- Countdown timer
- Flash alarm
- Slightly thicker digits
- Showing the current time when in stopwatch or timer screens
- Showing the month on the main screen (I don't care about this one but it's nice to have)
Is there anything this size with more functions?
I don't deserve that trophy
Gracias.
