These are 8 weeks old and I believe them to be royal palms as one has a black feather growing in. They are from a feed store which gets from cackle hatchery and they do have white heritage breeds available from cackle. I feel for this size and age they are heritage but I want to be sure. They are currently being socialized to eventually live with my chickens but they don’t spend all day with them yet and are just switching to a 20% protein food. I’m hoping for heritage as they would be nice to help deter hawks and they have wonderful personalities but iam able to give them a proper diet to live full lives if they are meat birds. It was a mixed bin of turkey breeds.

Her foot has apparently been swollen for a while and I was just called over to help this morning. I didn’t see any cuts on her foot today that looked like bumble but there’s two scabs on top i’m unsure of. Anything I can do to help would be appreciated.

I’m not sure if it hatched like this or not I got it in a group at a feed store and have only noticed now. I saw it get run over by one of the other birds the other day and don’t know if this can be because of that. She seems to be smaller than the rest but growing and i’ve seen her eat and drink daily but i’m not sure how successful she is at getting it in her mouth. She seems to be a healthy weight for a baby of this age if maybe the tiniest bit underweight. They are getting vitamins in their water since I noticed the other day she’s still a bit small. I know they can live full lives with special care I just don’t know what that care entails

As you can see I ordered May 30th. I got a confirmation email and was told it would arrive June 8th or 9th. It still says pending and I haven’t gotten any other emails about my order. I saw it takes up to 3 business days. Today is the 5th business day. Is this normal or could be because of the recent pokemon sale they had?

I’m pretty new to turkeys and in the past only had white ones a few years back. These don’t look the way those did and i’m curious as to what breed they are. They weren’t labeled aside from “turkey”. The reddish spots on the head is what’s throwing me off.
