Thoughts on Censer of Wool Hollow for mage ?

I got my first lvl 25 legendary drop with this weapon. I really like its light theme and skills, but it really feels underwhelming for single target DPS. I'm struggling to find a good arsenal with it on mage too. I've been using mirrors to get the most of the double scaling, it does give you a super AOE kind of build for clearing packs and mobbing, but it feels really lackluster on bosses that don't spawn adds. Also the passive is weird, if you interrupt your spell rotation to pick up the clouds it usually does not feel worth it. What are your thoughts on this weapon for mage ?

Have I hit a point of no return ?

Hello there fellow inmates.

I have recently entered the sleeper temple (G1R), and it feels sort of the final showdown. Except I am not quite done yet with side quests, have 40 unspent LP, and haven't maxed out magic circles (currently at 5) or trained two-handed weapons (doing a hybrid build).

So I want to ask a few questions here hoping for not too spoily answers :

- am I pretty much locked into the endgame after entering the temple ? Should I reload an older save or do I get a chance to tie up loose ends without altering the world state ?

- how do I train for magic circle 6 ? Is it tied to the book I found underneath the old lighthouse ? Any hints cause it feels very vague (something to do with fishing and lakes I have visited every make but found nothing except a weird door in the the new camp lake but found no way to open it). Also does it cost LP? So that I can choose between this and two handed.

- are there any very missable things to look out for on the map ? It feels like I visited all places except maybe a small spot near the abandoned fortress.

Thanks !

Are hybrid builds viable ?

First Gothic game for me here, and dear God I feel awful for missing out on such a phenomenal RPG experience. I'm a die hard Elder Scrolls fan, and this remake scratches an itch that few games have, with the very steep progression curve as a bonus as it is something I really enjoy.

That being said, I'm a bit lost on how to spend my LP. In most RPGs like this I tend to go the spellsword route. In Gothic though I'm afraid that the stat spread will make me a bit meh compared to dumping everything in one archetype. I've been favoring strength so far, with a bit of investment to get a few mana points to use firebolts. Should I hold off to dip into magic or is it valid to develop both at the same time ?
