Battery life garbage since last update, random glitches and freezes

Does anyone else have absolutely garbage battery life since the update to 17? Honestly, I barely make it through the day with maybe an hour of screentime...

Also suffering from lots of little glitches. Wonder if I should factory reset my phone or something?

Is it me or is car rental/shared taxi transport in Kazachstan a little expensive?

I'm spending some days around Almaty and wanted to drive to Altyn Emel and some other destinations. For a car that allows you to drive into some of the natural parks there, prices are 100USD/day or over. This seems like a lot?

I also found a driver through Whatsapp, and they charge 150USD for a day trip. Is this a normal rate?

Traveling to turkmenistan with antidepressant medication

This is a very long shot, I am trying to understand if I can travel to Turkmenistan while I am on zoloft/sertraline. I hear they are quite strict about medication, but I can find very little actual information about this...

GL-C-201P recognised as GL-C-008P, poor colour rendering.

I bought a GL-C-201P and have connected it using Z2M on home assistant (tried ZHA as well). It is being recognised as a different device entirely - and the colour rendering is very bad (i.e. I click on a yellow colour and it will come out green). Is this a known issue?

Buy China to Kazachstan bus ticket as proof of onwards travel

I'm going to Kazachstan over land, but I'm wondering how to show proof of onwards travel if asked. Does anyone know if a bus ticket will be accepted by airlines?

I saw some people recommend showing a train ticket to Hong Kong or buying a refundable flight. Would that be a better alternative?

Colours not looking good using home assistant

Hi! I operate about 25 wiz bulbs, and have added them to home assistant. I notice that the colour slection options in HA are causing issues, and the colour from the light is looking nothing like the colour I click. I don't have this issue so much in the app...

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Location issues after moving into newly built house (probably more google location related), phone thinks I am at old house

We moved to a new house that has only recently been built. On google maps, my location is popping up in random spots all over town. My wife's phone is often showing as being at our old home a lot. On my laptop, if I use what's my ip to find my location, it thinks I am somewhere else yet again. I have no idea how to address this.

As a result, home assistant will randomly think we have left the house, causing devices to switch off. This is super annoying.

I'm trying to figure out how to fix this - at least in home assistant at a minimum. Is there a way to automatically set my location to home if I connect to the Wifi?

Recommend me a "continuous" led strip that can be cut to size, have white balance control

My kitchen has a built in led strip but I don't like that it's not dimmable/colour temp adjustable.

I bought a wiz strip but I don't like that you can see the individual discrete LEDs.

Wiz has "neon" flexible strips that look nice but I don't think they can be cut.

Please recommend me an LED strip where you can't see individual LEDS when looking at the strip, that has brightness and colour temperature control.

Thanks!
