I am a Brooks Brothers loyalist (i know their clothes aren't the most authentic or adventurous but I buy it since it's actually very affordable when on sale) and am looking to get a nicer OCBD or chino or something that you can't get at BB. I am interested in trying out J Press, especially after Carlson took over and there is a sale right now. What is still unique and good quality there nowadays? Maybe I should look at their knits instead of OCBDs? I am looking for something that would be a step up or not available at BB.

Medium format has higher resolution than 35mm but it is often said that if you are looking at images on your phone, higher resolution is not going to make a difference (same reasoning why you can't tell a difference between a 16mb vs 60 mb tiff on phones). So what is the advantage of medium format over 35mm if you aren't making large prints?

I guess the dynamic range will be better but how does that actually manifest in the image (maintains shadow detail?)

What are some fun and unique ideas for an upscale garden party? I know of things like drink fountains with premade cocktails. Maybe lawn games or polaroid pictures? This would be for a cocktail hour before a salon where there is a talk.
