How do you handle misgendering by people who may be trans friendly?

I'm trans masc non binary, with a generally masculine presentation. I got top op but I'm no HRT, so my looks is masc-ish but my voice is fem-ish and I got no beard. In my language I use masc pronouns as it doesn't have neutral pronouns.

People usually default to feminine pronouns for me, but a lot of people already told me they were really unsure about it until corrected. Some told me later on that I looked like someone they would completely avoid pronouns until they knew for certain the correct ones. A cashier once was so confused that she alternated between masc and fem pronouns in a 2 min interaction. This confusion honestly gives me euphoria, but I'm sure it's not as pleasant for others who are afraid to hurt me lol

Usually when people misgender me I think hard if I correct them, if it's worth it or if it's too much trouble. If it's a short interaction or if it's potentially dangerous, etc. So sometimes I don't correct people. In those cases, I really don't care when people keep misgendering me, I know it was my choice to not correct them, but sometimes people find out my correct pronouns and get all flustered saying sorry and how I should have corrected them.

This happened once more this week, I am doing very temp work (2 afternoons) at an art exhibition guiding classes of children, which also makes me less willing to correct as children sometimes put my pronouns in showcase and it takes away from what I am actually showing them. The artist didn't know me previously, so he defaulted to fem pronouns, but midafternoon a classmate of mine (who is related to the artist) arrived, privately corrected him, and he switched to masc pronouns mid presentation. My classmate later told me that the artist was unsure of my pronouns but was afraid to ask me directly, and how I should have corrected him. I just told her I thought it wasn't worth it to correct him and make a big deal out of it, but I still thanked her for correcting him.

As a side note: I am 100% okay with people correcting others on my pronouns, specially if they know the person being corrected. People who know my correct pronouns usually know to not out me unless they know I'll be safe and are ready to be by my side if shit happens lol

I should have felt safe enough to correct him, I saw people working in the art gallery who looked queer, artists are pretty much always very accepting, it was obviously a safe space, but I still felt unsure as I didn't know anyone around (I didn't even know my classmate would be there). I just don't know how to explain to people that correcting pronouns outs me and that can potentially be dangerous, specially if I don't know anyone around and I'm in place I've never been in. I understand them being flustered, trans people do make it a big point about how misgendering hurts, but I also am truly okay with the sting if I think it can be way worse.

Is there a "hidden" way I can make sure it's safe to correct? Or maybe a way to aliviate how others feel about having misgendered me?

Did humans "select" predators to not hunt humans?

For context: I'm a biology major, but I want to know more about this specific thing and have more arguments for this discussion.

So a big influencer who talks about zoology in my country said that the reason predators like lions/jaguars/tigers don't hunt humans anymore is because we as a species "selected" predators that don't hunt us by killing individuals who saw humans as prey, so now there aren't any more individuals who see us as prey. He said that as all predators who saw humans as prey got killed by humans (as a way to stop them from killing humans), they couldn't pass their "human hunting" genes on, so now the only individuals left don't have those "human hunting" genes.

I personally think that is wrong. Humans aren't hunted by these animals mostly because we 1. mostly live isolated/protected in cities and rarely go to places these predators live, 2. lowered their numbers by hunting/destroying their habitat and upped our numbers so there's relatively fewer cases, and 3. know how to prevent attacks (like being in groups, carrying weapons, avoiding the known predators' territories, etc). Plus, we still are absolutely hunted by them! There's still cases of people getting attacked by jaguars in my country, specially if the person is alone in the jungle.

This influencer has a very bad reputation among biologists, apparently he's done and said a lot of awful things in the past, and he often glorifies intensive/industrial agriculture. Even so, he's very well liked by the general public, as he had a big nature show/documentary a few decades ago and for most people he's the only reference they have of the field.

I want to know what people here think about this specific thing, if he's right, if I'm right, if there's more arguments in each side, etc... A few people outside the field already spoke about this with me, and I tried using those arguments, but some are still hesitant to discredit the guy. Plus, I also may be wrong! I'm still studying and learning, I don't have my degree yet haha

welp, that was the last kick to make me ditch google photos

I've been using google photos for more than a decade, and even knowing the lack of privacy and respect I was reluctant to move everything over to an alternative (even if the alternative was my HDD).

Now I went to the web version and saw a gen AI version of a (very cute) photo I took of my cat with my beanie and scarf, but I am against gen AI as a whole and I HATE this. I have all the smart features turned off in my photos settings, but of course they don't respect that and just gen AI-ed stuff from my photos...

For some reason the image upload is failing here in reddit, but here's a link to the gen AI thing... https://imgur.com/Oog53cK

Now I'm about to spend my end of semester friday night exporting all my photos data to move it to ente
