As with the last few amazing earnings, Google is likely to have extreme blowout earnings with all the increased ad revenue and their other offshoots and investments recording record highs.
How much are they going to drop after earnings for no reason do we think?
I’ve been tracking Axios for a while, but their recent coverage specifically the Middle East and U.S. Iran reporting by Barak Ravid and be has crossed a dangerous line from "fast reporting" into spreading completely unverified and damaging information.
Case in point: his multiple premature claims that a U.S.-Iran deal was "imminent" or "close". These reports have repeatedly turned out to be false or heavily manipulated by political sources, but the real world consequences are immediate. Just look at the oil market every time one of his anonymous "siren emoji" tweets drops, global commodity prices tank before the official denials can even catch up. Media critics are openly pointing out that Trump administration insiders and regional actors are essentially using Ravid’s high credibility as a direct pipeline to manipulate the market for political or financial gain.
Axios prides itself on "Smart Brevity," but it seems like "brevity" has turned into a lack of basic fact-checking and severe over reliance on single, anonymous sources who have explicit agendas. When a outlet prioritized speed and access over truth, it ceases to be journalism and becomes a tool for market manipulation.
How do we push for real accountability here? If outlets like Axios can move global financial markets based on inaccurate, unverified leaks without issuing corrections or addressing their sourcing flaws, the credibility of political journalism is completely shot.
Can the credibility of Axios be publicly halted based on our outrage? Can we start an investigation or report them to a news agency?

We used to be able to have discussions on small plays to make big money. Usually decently smart positions with a thesis. Unfortunately the vast majority of users have been losing money due to terrible advice and even worse positions. Some of which were completely delisted. F* this subreddit and f* you.
I recommend doing some actual research and mods start removing bullshit. Right now I hold no real positions because every time I try to turn my $50 into $1000 I end up right back at $50. It would have been easier to just throw a dart than listen to anything here
NBIS $260 calls were swept for 59% which is huge and over $6.9million is betting on them. All swept yesterday before close? Does somebody know something we don’t about NBIS and is it going to skyrocket today?
Anyone know what their relation is to Nvidia and why they are expected to skyrocket?
I know there has been a lot of updates and issues especially with the flotation plant. Regardless of any issues it’s amazing how quickly everything is coming together for such a small team.
