Mercury One.1 motors
Hey
Sourcing hardware to convert my E5P
BOM have links to motors, but they are not showing any products.
What motor should I look for? Preferably AliExpress.
Chasing speed and heat tolerance for enclosure.

I just received the EBB36 Gen2
In the box there was also 3 different sized heatsinks.
It may be very intuitive where they go, but I woukd like to ask if anyone knows exactly. Couldn't find anything written.
Could you point it out for me like I'm five? 🙈
Hey
I've bought myself a NVMe drive exclusively to run Docker containers and it's Appdata.
Ultimately letting the cache pool being purely cache.
I'm running Docker directory per now, in /mnt/user/docker/
The Appdata was no problem moving the most important ones and updating container configs.
But how do I move the Docker directory?
I tried stopping Docker, rsync /mnt/cache/docker/ to new location, update Docket directory path and started Docker. No cigar.
I can't find any how to's on this particular case.
Any advice?
I'm doing a bit of optimalization on my server.
Started out with a slow Jellyfin UI.
I learned that it should not be om a CoW system, so I utilized a NVMe pool as ZFS and disabled CoW.
Huge performance upgrade!
So I was to move all my databases to this pool, but started to wondering if moving the whole Docker system would be the reasonable thing to do.
How do you do it?
Originally I had everything on the cachepool being a mirrored 1Tb NVMe BTRFS.
The new pool is mirrored 2Tb NVMe ZFS
Only Jellyfin in there for now, and i made Jellyfin as a dataset.
Any input for a novice appreciated ✌️
Hey Community
I recently got myself a good deal on a barely used C3.
I do have some audio issues.
When trying to watch high quality material with Dolby Atmos the sound always goes on and off several times per second.
I've found that turning off Bitstream and on again fixes the issue. But it's annoying.
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
My setup is like this
Strong Leap S3 Pro (Google TV)
|
8K HDMI cable
|
LG C3
|
eARC HDMI
|
Samsung HW-Q995 (sound system)
Any help appreciated!
I'm on the point where I'm adjusting and tuning my my storage infrastructure.
But I'm wondering how other users solves it.
For now I have a 2 disk stripe setup with ZFS. Also running a mirror special vdev for small blocks Data disks is 8Tb each. SAS HDD.
I see pros and cons with this. Mainly have this for the ability to use snapshots and the Special VDev
Do you guys prioritize redundancy at all?
I'm at the point I want/need to expand, but haven't decided if redundancy is something I want or not.
I need your opinions on this! ✌️
