Baby wakes each time I put him down

Our 3.5-month-old has been a pretty rough sleeper since birth, but lately (I’m guessing the 4-month sleep regression) it’s become almost impossible to keep him in his crib at night.

It’s not even that he’s waking every hour.. sometimes it’s every 20 minutes, sometimes every 2 hours. The biggest issue is that once he wakes up, I can’t get him to stay asleep in his own bed.

This is around the age we started co-sleeping with our older son, but this time I really want to keep our baby sleeping in his own space.

We’ve tried everything we can think of: holding him longer after he falls asleep, putting him down feet first, transferring him as gently as possible. The cycle just repeats all night.. he wakes up, eats or gets patted back to sleep, I transfer him, and within minutes he’s kicking around, rubbing his face, or crying.

What am I supposed to do? Is this normal? How long does this stage usually last? I really don’t want to end up co-sleeping again, but I’m exhausted. It takes so long to get him to stay asleep that by the time I finally get back into bed, he’s awake again and ready to eat.

Baby in own room at 3m too early?

Thinking of moving our 3.5m old to his own room not to cry it out or anything, I plan to tend to him when he needs us but our rocking chair is in there and I feel like he’d like his own space. Hes been sleeping really bad anyways and I feel like he’s not liking his bassinet anymore either. Is this too early? He turns 4 months in 10 days

Increased C section Pain

I’m 15 weeks postpartum and went to my OB for increased c section pain the last couple weeks. Not unbearable pain but just enough to get checked up. I was worried because I thought I might have had a hernia (which she originally thought at first too).

Anyways long story short my symptoms were puffiness on one side (not necessarily swelling just puffy on my left side), super tender to the touch when it had almost gone away weeks before this, and burning/pinchy scratchy feeling. My c section was very tender in one spot but never really hurt with movement, coughing, or straining just more so constant.

I went to urgent care had an ultrasound and they found no sign of anything (no hernia, no Seroma or abscess) no sign of infection either. Found out most likely I have a trapped nerve that just is starting to “wake up.” Posting for anyone that has a similar experience or pain. He said it may be like this for a while or it could go away on its own, or there are other pain management options.

Possible C section hernia

I’m 14w postpartum from a planned c section. I’ve been going to the gym and squatting but nothing super heavy. Anyways one day I pulled a groin muscle about 2 weeks ago, and noticed my left side of my incision was slightly swollen, tender, scar was burning more than normal. I went to doc today and she said she might feel a super small hernia and wants me to keep an eye on it for then next 6 weeks to see if the mild swelling goes down. Again my swelling is sooo minimal you can’t even tell unless you touch the area it just feels puffier.

My question is has anyone experienced this? Did it go away on its own or did you need surgery? She says it’s probably a hernia but might resolve on its own. Is this possible will it go away? I have really bad medical anxiety so I would rather not have surgery but also would rather it be fixed than live constantly with this burning uncomfortableness in my stomach.
