Monday carry and pocket check
Something different for me today. My only auto. Kershaw Launch 20 in Magnacut. They can be found at a fantastic $125 if you look. Whats in your pocket this back to work day?

Ups dropped these on my doorstep at 9pm last night. Stayed up later than I should have getting some color on them but I think it was worth it. 😁
Actually arrived Satuday evening but did a scale swap with my brother yesterday and today is my first day carrying. Looks big but carries light and is SO thin and slicey.
I have been experimenting with titanium anodizing and after playing a little bit with the two most likely candidates from my colection I ordered two what i thought were clones from Aliexpress to learn with. The Kives are actually counterfeits with all the identifying marks and codes of the originals. They are the Not Cub and the ??18 at the bottom of my pic. They are not bad knives and I would like to ether gift them or sell them at cost after I've had my way with them, but under no circumstances do I want them ever to be sold as legitimate Demko or Hinderer products in the future. Do any of you have a suggestion of a way to mark or etch these knives in an inexpensive but tasteful way that identifies them as replicas. If possible I would like to also like to show that the blades are 9cr and D2 as well.
It's not quite stock and I love it.
I added these these civivi ti clips last night. I etched the one on the Grouper back to natural but left ano on the Microbe clip case it kinda matched. Give me your opinions is it to loud or should I leave it?
Who else saw the profile of the new Masu and bought both versions before even looking at a review?
So im loving ( except thier fugly stock pocket clips ) Kizer's newest knives. From this years drops I have picked up the Brown Sheepdog the Microbe and the 😍🥰🥰 Madrac 🥰🥰😍. I am planning to snag the new Masu today and the WMK Divo Mash colab the moment it drops. What kizer would best fit my collection next.
I had my Bel Air in my pocket this morning and swapped it last minute for this. It was staring ate me looking sad and neglected.
A couple of years ago I found and fell in love with the KS201 and 301 titanium deep carry pocket clips from Kizer. They are out of stock and have been so for months. In an email from Kizer it was indicated that they do not know when or if they will ever be available again. I like them because they are more than a stamped and bent clip. They are milled and 3 dimensional plus priced very competitvely. Outside of the stampede and bent ti clips from lynch and civivi what titanium clips gave you found with fairly standard hole spacing to replace stock stainless pocket clips on your knives. I am including a picture of a number of knives I have used these kizer clips on. The clips do not live on the Rhino and Bel Air currently but they do fit.
My new WMK exclusive Kizer Madrac with skiffs, ti clip, and 2 tone bronze ano.
Got this in the mail from White Montian Knives yesterday. First I did a two tone bronze and brass ano, cause why not. I then added skiff bearings and a Kizer ti pocket clip to match the button.
😍I love it.😍
This just arrived. It is in titanium and Elmax and it is spaced for Kizers older pocket clips. Goodbye ugly stainless clip.
I recently put together a titanium anodizing bath and am looking at the two Kizer WMK exclusives releasing over the next 45ish days above for a multi dimensional two toned ano. Both are buton linerlock sheep's foot blades in Elmax with hollow grinds. I prefer the blade profile and thumbstuds on the Madrac but will have to replace the fugly pocket clip. The Devo Mash has extra detailing in the scales, a much nicer pocket clip and is 3.3 inches to the Madrac's 3.1. It's downside is i can't thumb flick most holes because the top knuckles of my thumbs don't bend. I love them for spydie flicks though. The Devo is also $160 vs $150 for the madrac but I can live with its pocket clip so wont have to buy another. What would the community recommend.
I tried my hand at home anodizing for the first time yesterday. Overall I am pleased with the results but as always there I room to learn. I would love some thought as well as process recomendations. The knife came with a blue ano I am guessing was done around 28v I hit the top and bottom ends if the scales and hard edges with 600 grit to expose titanium then buffed with a medium steel will to reduce scratching. Lastly hand tumbled with rocksalt in a gatoraid bottle. I then cleaned and anodized at 22v for a purple. I then repeated the full distress process more lightly and anodized at 14v. I noticed I got very little bronze so I cut a thin strip if 600 grit and used it like a paintbrushto some random scratch patterns on the surface and did 14v again.
