Didn't know there was a neighborhood fireworks contest happening, lol.
People are trying to outdo one another, it's mesmerizing to watch and a bit chaotic.

Alright y'all, I am not a fan of the new bus routes.
I've already established that in my other post about intercity Transit.
As a whole, it's not terrible. Having more bus lines is great, and I'm happy I can go to Yelm on the same bus without having to worry about a transfer. Most drivers are friendly and courteous.
What I'm not a fan of is how late the bus routes often are after the remodeling of the entire system. 9X and 72 are on time usually during the week, but it seems lately that 72 is arriving later and later every day. Today, it was over 30 minutes late. It has been late for the past 4 days. At least 64 was on time! Seriously, what's the deal with the bus being so late every day?
Is it so hard to run a bus line on time?
Apologies for ranting again about this system, I just wish it was on time more often.
Just got home from work, and what sounded to be like a gunshot or a car back fire just echoed through the neighborhood of Horizon Pointe. Anyone know what it was?

So I'm playing the game, I conquer Azterri, with a full fleet of star destroyers and everything, the space battle goes well, but the second I conquer the planet itself, Han Solo shows up and apparently I lose with a full squad of stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and heavy tanks and other assorted equipment. No matter what I send at the system afterwards, there is suddenly a billion B wings there when they weren't there a second ago.
This happens on other planets too playing as the Empire. Playing as the Rebellion, the Empire doesn't fight back nearly as much as the AI on the Rebellion side does. They still fight back, but they don't send full squads of Y wings and X wings at you like it's a Buccee's gas station bbq sandwich deal.
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game to play, I owned it many years ago and just recently bought it again, but it's mad annoying to constantly have to deal with a billion B wings and rebels destroying systems that are well defended, and I somehow lose.
What's the deal with the AI? Is there any way to stop them from blatantly cheating so much?
Playing on Easy mode btw.
I'm not a fan of the new system. I live all the way in south Lacey by the Amtrak station, and eliminating 64 seems like a dumb idea. I now have to transfer to 3 different busses to get to work, and the new 9X route doesn't even stop at my job. I used to take 64 to LTC, and then 62A/B to my job.
I used to take one bus to LTC, one bus to work, and now it's either take 4 different busses.
Seriously, who thought this through?
Does anyone else still drive through Willits from the highway 20 turnoff on the south portion of the bypass around town?
I think the bypass wasn't designed well, I remember all the controversy it had. I refuse to take the bypass when I'm in the area.
I actually prefer the slower way through town. I don't mind the red lights at all, I would always stop at safeway with my dad in Willits on the way north towards Eureka.
