How to put rectangle horizontally symmetrically?

How to put rectangle horizontally symmetrically?

Hi Community,

I’ve run into a small parametric-design problem and could use some advice.

I want to place a rectangle with a fixed size of 52 × 5.5 mm on top of this body. The rectangle should stay aligned to the bottom edge (as shown in the screenshot), but it also needs to remain centered horizontally/symmetrical relative to the body.

What would be the best way to constrain or parameterize the horizontal offset so the rectangle always stays centered, even if the body dimensions change?

Hi everyone!

With the white nights approaching here in Finland, I’m wondering how useful the S50 will be over the summer months. Apart from solar imaging, are there still any worthwhile targets to capture?

Maybe bright nebulae, the Moon, planets, satellites, landscapes, or anything else that works despite the short and bright nights? I’d love to hear what people in northern latitudes do with their S50 during summer.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to build a simple sensor setup for a backyard gate to detect whether it’s open or closed. I’m considering using the XIAO nRF52840 in a SENSOR role.

Does anyone have experience with a similar setup? I’m thinking about sending the status updates to a dedicated private channel—would appreciate any insights or suggestions on the best approach.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone here made a full switch from cloud services like iCloud or Google Drive to a local NAS-based setup for notes by using Joplin + Joplin Server?

I’m considering moving everything over, but I’m a bit concerned about reliability - especially when it comes to long-term note storage. Is Joplin stable enough for this kind of use?

Also, what backup strategies are you using alongside it to make sure your data is safe and give you some peace of mind?

Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
