Do other countries have a similar variety of dialects as Germany?

This might be a quite naive question but I only know 3 languages, Polish, German and English. I am asking this because I am Polish by blood but more German as I grew up here but I noticed there are way more dialects in Germany then in Poland where the language is quite homogeneous. Sure there are the Silasians and Górals but other than that there is not much variety. The UK seems to be quite similar with a lot of regional dialects.

So the question goes out to all migrants, Germans with a background and Germans who live abroad. How big is the variety of dialects (not different languages though!) in other countries? Is it even more diverse than in Germany or less?

Was passierte mit dem östlichen Graben Hamburgs?

Gude, liebe Hamburger!

What was your favourite play of last season?

Ngl I am kinda bored due to the offseason but also want to reminiscent some good play. So I am curious about what you lads think your favourite or maybe your most memorable play last season was.

My favourite one definetly was the 29 yard catch by Mims at the end of the Giants game!

So I want to post a "table" on reddit but it does not seem to work

So this is the table in question

| # | Verein | Ausgaben | Einnahmen | Saldo | |---|---|---|---|---| | 1 | VfB Stuttgart | 513,41 Mio. € | 705,45 Mio. € | 192,04 Mio. € | | 2 | Mainz 05 | 253,64 Mio. € | 385,87 Mio. € | 132,23 Mio. € | | 3 | Eintracht Frankfurt | 531,54 Mio. € | 662,13 Mio. € | 130,59 Mio. € | | 4 | SC Freiburg | 217,29 Mio. € | 313,80 Mio. € | 96,51 Mio. € | | 5 | 1. FC Nürnberg | 98,36 Mio. € | 190,11 Mio. € | 91,76 Mio. € | | 6 | TSG Hoffenheim | 462,39 Mio. € | 552,87 Mio. € | 90,48 Mio. € | | 7 | Werder Bremen | 309,93 Mio. € | 365,28 Mio. € | 55,35 Mio. € | | 8 | VfL Bochum | 35,42 Mio. € | 85,57 Mio. € | 50,15 Mio. € | | 9 | Greuther Fürth | 19,08 Mio. € | 53,30 Mio. € | 34,22 Mio. € | | 10 | SC Paderborn 07 | 14,17 Mio. € | 47,73 Mio. € | 33,56 Mio. € |

Ngl I created it out of an image with the help of chatgpt. When I want to create a thread it's just this gibberish but when I post the same as a comment it shows up the way I intended it, why?

These are my 10 favourite One Piece panels of all time! What do you think and what are yours?

I excluded the "I want to live" - Nico Robin Panel and the "Nothing happened" - Zoro panel. Don't get me wrong these are absolutely banger panels worthy of a Top 10 but they were just too obvious and kinda boring to include.

The rules are only one panel!

If anyone even cares why I ranked each panel the way I did here is my explanation:

  1. >! I mean everyone in the OP world told us that Garp is strong af. But damn seeing him obliterate a huge chunk of an island was fucking epic imo. !<

  2. >! Ngl at the time I was searching for another panel but then I came across this marvel. How fucking good is this panel? 4 vs 1, 4 of them are confident they can win and the other one is 100% certain he WILL win. !<

  3. >! Idk really why but this panel is just epic, even more with some context, Lulusia in the first place never existed! It just shows how powerful Imu can be! !<

  4. >! When I saw this panel I just fell in love with it. It's just hilarious !<

  5. >! When I started watching One Piece I was still a kid and this panel stuck with me since then. The Strawhats are pirates and Vivi is part of the WG so they have to behave like this but they also showed their solidarity with her, love it. Vivi best girl! !<

  6. >! I just had to include the donuting of Ace. Yea I might make fun of this situation now but I actually shed a tear or more when this happened. Definetly an important moment in the series! !<

  7. >! Who does not like Saint Charlos getting punched in the face? Do I even have to explain this one more? !<

  8. >! Roofpiece. It's in my opinion the best standoff in the series so far. Supernovae vs 2(!) of the 4 emperors, epic !<

  9. >! This one is just iconic. The first real power up Luffy really got. Replicated by many athletes, it's just that awesome! !<

  10. >! My absolute favourite arc is Skypea, I grew up watching it relgiously and even though nowadays the pacing feels of I still love it. This panel might not be the most defining in the history of One Piece but for me it is the most memorable one, I love it. !<

Do you think the East Blue gets more respect in the One Piece world nowadays?

So in the beginning of the story, the East Blue was considered the weakest of the Blues. But now we have two Emperors from the East Blue: Luffy and Buggy. Okay, Buggy was born on the Grand Line and raised by Roger, but when he started his own journey, he was a known pirate in the East Blue.

Some might argue that Shanks might’ve started his operations in the East Blue as well, but tbh we don’t know how notorious he was before Foosha Village, or what route he took and what fights he had afterward before becoming an Emperor.

So, do you think that the average inhabitant of the One Piece world (who is interested in pirates) thinks more highly of the East Blue now? Or do you think the other blues are still more notorious because the average pirates there are stronger?
