AndroidAuto Mazda CX-5 Issue

Just recently while using AndroidAuto (or even carplay), my screen wants to change to the native Mazda GPS app without any rhyme or reason. It just does it randomly while the phone is still connected, I could be listening to music or be on a phone call and all of a sudden it's switched to the native GPS.

Any known causes or fixes for this?

New Quirk Taking Place

I started to notice over the past week or so that while using AndroidAuto or Carplay, at random the screen switches to the native Mazda GPS. There's no rhyme or reason to it, it just wants to switch to it. It's annoying and it's just another quirk in the Mazda software 🤷

Multiple deliveries

The other day I read somewhere here I. Reddit about Amazon's delivery inefficiencies.

A couple of days ago I ordered 4 items and took the combined delivery option to reduce trips.

Well... This morning in a matter of a 1.5hrs I had 4 sub-contractor deliveries drop off my packages. Two of the witnin 10 mins of each other.

Maybe if the fixed this inefficiency they would not have to keep increasing the Prime cost.

Sunroof / Moonroof Wind Noise

2025 PP new - Since I've only had the car for a about 1 mo now, I just finally had an opportunity to get on the road for a while at highway speeds (66+), and I found the sunroof to be noisy, as in wind noise. Anyone else experience this and is there a solution to it?

Although it's a '25 CX-5 in my case, this probably applies to all that have this feature/problem 😁.

Being that I'm new to cylinder deactivation I have been monitoring the screen that shows when the cylinders get deactivate and which ones.

Before the cylinder deactivation takes place, the screen shows all 4 cylinders in red, meaning they're all running.

As deact begins, at first deactivates number one and number four which go gray on the screen.

In the next phase, usually coasting or getting close to a stop, it'll deactivate the other two cylinders (2 g 3) so now all four are gray.

If I understand cylinder deactivation correctly, the cylinders are not being fed spark or fuel, correct? Or are they being fed less fuel and a lower spark?

If the latter is the answer then this question is a moot.

However, if the first is the answer and all cylinders get deactivated (all are gray on the screen), how is it that there's 900 RPMs showing on the tach?

Is there someone knowledgeable in this feature that can explain this?

Looking forward to learning something new....

Does anyone know if there are other compatible keyfob options for the '25 CX-5? I find that this one with the buttons on the side is not as easy to use than others with the buttons on the face. And the buttons are not easily distinguished by feel - I tend to use mine in the pocket when I do, but I usually have to try more than one to press the button I need.
