Keep the box?

Have been mowing most of this year with the Lymow, not without issue but still satisfied. I guess I've been somewhat cautious about saying that, but the real indicator is that I kept the box it came in just in case. Do I need to keep this box anymore? Feels like tossing it officially cements long term ownership.

Maybe it's crop circles?

The dark grass is what it missed due to the blade motors overheating or whatever is going on. Maybe it's sending the equivalent of QR codes to an alien race!

It's crazy how in the sunniest spots of my yard the mower doesn't mow. PLEASE send us a fix!

Blade disengage workaround

I was on vacation for about 2 weeks and the grass was pretty tall once we got back. So the lymow had it's work cut out for it. I went outside after it had been cutting for awhile and suddenly the dreaded silence of the blades occurred while it still happily bound across the yard. I paused the mower. I raised the deck about an inch. I put the blades to Power. I resumed the task. That seems to have solved it.

I think maybe there's some kind of error thrown on the motors when they get bogged down...at least in my case. They don't communicate back to the main board though, they just soft reset come back online and start cutting again.

Side note: Yea, I know it should still mow while on vacation but there's no chance that's happening anytime soon. Too many variables that the user has to account for. The app/mower really should account for them.

Cub Cadet XT1 cranks but occasionally only starts after removing air filter.

It's brand new but had been manufactured in late 2024. It sometimes starts completely fine, no issues. Then sometimes it will just crank and crank but obviously flooding. In an attempt to check things I pulled the air filter out. Noticed the filter had a gas smell itself. Tried cranking and after gurgling gas out the intake it fires right up. It's a roll of the dice whether it pops right off or have to mess with the air filter.

It's under warranty but I don't want to haul it 30 minutes away and not have it for a week for something simple.

Could it be a float issue? Or is there something different with the electric choke?

WiFi network options

So I had some initial problems connecting to WiFi but managed it eventually by opening it up on my network. I usually use an IOT style network which limits access to the rest of my internal network.

Has anyone figured out how much local network access it needs? Is it all internet traffic?

Also, will it renegotiate to multiple Access Points? I'm planning to cover the yard but wanted to get feedback before I wasted a bunch of time.

Thanks!
