I have too many variants of this album… and still waiting on some to arrive 😫
Anyone else pick up an Assai Records Ltd/ numbered Obi edition? Forgot it was signed, a nice surprise!
I think Matt used Jeff Buckley’s Tele on Space Debris.
Broke down the stems in logic to make an instrumental version of the album (don’t worry, it’s coming here soon) and was doing a bit of light mixing etc, happened to isolate the guitar track on Space Debris and I’m convinced it’s the Jeff Tele used on it.
Has that lovely strange chimey tone you hear all over Grace.
And obvs a few tracks on Cryosleep.
Discuss?
Probably buying the DL4 MK-II in the next couple of weeks, anything in the sub-£200 range I should consider/ research first as an alternative before I buy?
As title says - any other great delays I should consider under or around the £200 range before pulling the trigger on this?
Have wanted a DL4 for years, but alternatives must tick the following boxes for me to consider:
•loads of delay options with programmable preset/ saves (DL4 II can be set up to hold 6x)
•Preferably MIDI compatible (for future-proofing) - currently have an old old Gigrig 14Pro, but plan to upgrade at some point when or if I can manage to drop that much on a G3S.
•DL4 is replacing 2x cheapo / budget delay pedals and a budget reverb - which I don’t use an awful lot anyway (since DL4 does all 3) so ideally ping pong / multiple delay settings, any reverb also a bonus.
I know people rave about the looper feature on the DL4, but not likely something I’d utilise. ( I have rubbish natural tempo- but don’t you hate it when your metronome keeps going out of time??)
Stereo outs are a bonus but at this point, also something I wouldn’t really use.
Once again, beyond my needs, but the exp/pedal outs are a great idea.

So - any other delays in this criteria? Have I missed any hidden or obvious gems?
Strymons etc jump to double the price tag, and lots of menu diving rather than easy to use and see knobs.
Muse take capitalism to space (WOW Ticket Prices)

Inspired by another post from earlier, I present my shitty meme version for Nightshift Superstar.
Bad photo editing by me, inspired by the real photo posted by u/SuperbGas9225 earlier.
So far tho - Nightshift Superstar is a bit of a bop. Lots of DCC Nothing But Thieves vibes - very *Welcome to the DCC* but with the string part akin to *Do You Love Me Yet?*.
Looking forward to the full song, and the album #soon!
Muse X QotSA - This Hexagonal Lullaby
Don’t take this too seriously!!
I love Muse, I Love QotSA:
The verse parts of Hexagons put me in mind of this Queens song (This Lullaby), so after a quick, haphazard fart about editing vocals in, and clumsily throwing together a silly video (I’d already made the vid as a wallpaper background, just threw Josh in)… here’s a laugh for you.
I do think it goes quite well, editing/timing aside.
Vocals ripped from the Josh Homme & Norah Jones acoustic thing they did on her podcast - which is worth a watch too, beautiful versions of some songs.
Anyway, Hexagons Effin slaps, Long Live the Queens.
Enjoy?
TVC PSA: the Morak Din Djarin head pops straight onto the new VC395. Looks superb.
Looks perfect. Most hassle you’ll have is getting the ball joint peg out the Morak head.
Also, in case it wasn’t obvious - any of your spare flame effects from other Mandalorians or Dark Troopers fit in the jetpack. A little finicky and don’t feel a strong fit - but it works.
Also also, I used a chrome paint for a few spots on the armour and helmet to make some of the shine pop.
[edit / addendum as someone in the comments was v pedantic. This is straight up head swap, not neck joint peg and head swap]
