Are all of these guppy fry?

I found one tiny baby in my big tank/used to be the mixed tank yesterday. But upon closer inspection it looks different from the guppy fry- could this be a tetra baby? I have black neon tetras, glow light tetras, and some Cory catfish in the bigger mixed tank as well. No other babies spotted yet.

If you’re in the US heat wave right now and have a dirty bong, go leave it outside for a few hours…

I was going to clean my bong today anyway, I have a friend coming over tomorrow. But I left the bong outside for a few hours this morning (I’m in Ohio and it’s 93F, real feel is 102F) and then went for one more toke before cleaning up, and all the resin just started falling off? I went inside and dumped it out and rinsed everything with hot water and scrubbed one stubborn spot with a brush and now my bong is clean- minus a little residue at the top. For a no rubbing alcohol, basically no effort clean, I would recommend!

ETA: for those considering joining in the bong cooking fun, don’t put your bong in direct sunlight! Mine was shaded by my covered deck, and it was just the heat that loosened the resin. Happy cleaning!

Should I seek diagnosis/treatment for my son (8m)?

Hi everyone,

My youngest child (8m- youngest of 6, blended family) has always been a fairly picky eater, there’s only certain things he wants to eat. In particular, he never wants to eat home cooked meals (which is almost always what we have for dinner, so he never wants to eat much at dinner, maybe some of the sides if I’m lucky).

This year, for some reason I’m not sure of, his anxiety and fearfulness are much higher in general, and his picky eating went into overdrive. Before I knew it, he lost 15% of his body weight in 3 months (lost 12 pounds). He’s eating noticeably less of even his preferred foods lately. Over the last month, we’ve been giving him nutrition shakes and we’ve been giving him more of what he wants to eat for dinner, and he’s gained 4 pounds back.

His pediatrician wants to blame his adhd meds which didn’t feel right, because the weight loss began months after his last increase in dosage. Plus, most of the eating he would do was while his meds were active- because that’s when he gets breakfast cereal and processed lunch foods, which are his preferred foods.

Anyway, we saw his psychiatrist today and she said she thinks he has ‘a little bit of arfid’, and that’s what is causing the eating difficulties. Is it worth seeking diagnosis and/or treatment for him?

TLDR: kiddo has always been picky, but is gaining weight with nutrition shakes. Psych said it could be arfid, is it worthwhile to get diagnosed/treated?

Late diagnosis/comorbidities

Hello, I am 42F and got diagnosed with autism yesterday after seeking an assessment for some time. It feels validating to get a diagnosis because I was pretty sure I was autistic (although hard to tell for sure because I have ADHD too and so many symptoms overlap). Prior to my autism diagnosis, I was also diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar II and anxiety. The assessment I did also scored me really highly for borderline personality disorder too, which surprised me. I also have several physical health issues that I have to deal with and manage.

How many others in here are dealing with other diagnoses? It feels a little overwhelming right now, I’ve done some research on BPD and the symptoms do seem to fit me experiences and my history. It’s hard to know what to attribute symptoms to, between autism, ADHD, bipolar and now maybe BPD? It’s just a lot.
