I personally started to read and watch Boruto's story...well actually because of Boruto himself. The moment I learned we would get a sequel about Naruto's son I was curious and although "young lord" could be a little shit sometimes,I liked him from the start.
Now I'm rooting for him, his friends and family to get themselves out of the mess they are going through.
I don't need for Boruto to get this perfect family and picket fense kind of ending,but I want a satisfying ending for him and everyone who is involved in his story.

Boruto won't need the Jougan to be at the top (means the strongest) by the end of the series.
Himawari will surpass Sarada by the end of the series. (In terms of power/strength)

I have seen there are people who would have prefered a slice of life series as a sequel where Naruto and the others are shown raising their kids together.
Do you agree, or do you think people are only wishing for this because the sequel focuses on the new generation? If Naruto and Sasuke had remained the main focus, do you think they (or maybe you) would have continued watching it as a battle shōnen?
